Briggs delivers yet again another amazing story in the Mercy Thompson series. She brought an action-packed tale with hate groups, black witches, friends to enemies, lose, and more.
Mercy is facing the consequences of making the Tri-Cities a safe haven. She's also stuck having to act as liaison between the humans and fae while Adam and The Pack play bodyguards to the humans. She will have to mange many things and make some difficult choices.
We are treated to some new and old characters with The Pack and all our favorite characters come to life in Storm Cursed. We learn more about Sherwood Post. Zee is present as is Uncle Mike and the Goblin King. Even Wulfe pops in.
As always Briggs captured me. The plot is well written and action-packed. I love that we are so far into the series and it’s still going strong with each book feeling fresh. It’s a well crafted story and the author made me cringe, laugh out loud, cry, and gasp.
The Mercy Thompson series continues to grow and get better with each book. Mercy is becoming stronger, The Pack is evolving, and the world continues to build. I can’t wait for the next installment.

Love The One You’re Witch has a little witchy mystery and a sweet romance. I found myself spellbound.
The premise of the story was interesting. I found myself pulled in and could not put the novel down until the very end. It was a cute and sweet read. The wring style was easy, enjoyable, and fast paced.
The characters Anastasia and Lucas where intriguing. Anastasia is a witch who breaks spells that are placed on paranormals. She is sassy, snarky, and a smart ass plus a bad ass too. I enjoyed her dry sense of humor and attempts to get the vampires to laugh. I ended up laugh in many parts myself. Lucas is a vampire, tall, dark, and handsome. Who can resist that? He’s been looking for his fated mate. I enjoyed how he doesn’t use sex to convince Anastasia that they are mates. That he takes the time to talk, so they get to know each other and gives her the chance to choose. The romance was sweet and I felt for Ana when Lucas was under a spell. As to the mystery of who put a love spell on a harmless vampire, well it was a surprised as to who the villain was. The ending was also very satisfying.
Love The One You’re Witch was a sweet romance. I would love to see this series continue. It’s got lots of possibilities. If you are looking for a witchy romance, then you might enjoy this novel.

ESHER is book three in the Guardians of Hades series by Felicity Heaton.
WOW. Esher has some serous demons to deal with. He’s struggled and now we finally get to learn what caused this split in him and made him dislike humans so much. I liked Esher. Liked the struggle he has being around mortals and how his mood affected the weather. Their’s a lot of depth to Esher. Learning what truly happened to him to make him struggle so much, well that was an emotional moment to read.
Aiko; his mortal, his little butterfly who brings him peace and balance. She’s sweet and has a special ability just like all the women we meet so far in the series. Her ability makes it easier for her to not freak out around Esher, to understand the struggle he goes through, and who he truly is. I liked that she knows and doesn’t have that freak out that we usually get in PNR’s. Heaton is really good about make her characters understand each other and I like this.
Their romance is sweet and adorable, but then the author throws in a curveball and you go WHAT. I love these curveballs that pop up in Ms. Heaton’s stories. It makes things move along and you never know what will happen. It’s fabulous.
I just adore the relationship the brothers have. It’s so fun to watch. I also love seeing and learning more about each brother. We just get little tastes, but that taste makes you want more of each of them. I also adore watching their relationship’s develop and change as you see more and more brothers find love and we dive more into the mystery of who wants to end the world.
ESHER is another thrilling, heart stopping, and emotional read in the Guardians of Hades series. This series is spectacular. Heaton is an author I look forward to reading and know that I will always be entertained and taken an an outstanding adventure. Can’t wait for the next installment.

I loved Roman in the Kate Daniels books and Sanctuary is book one in Roman’s Chronicles series by Ilona Andrews. It’s part of the Kate Daniels world. I loved Roman in the Kate Daniels books and his interactions with Kate. This novella was a treat for this fan.
Roman, a Dark Volhv, serves the Slavic god Chernobog, the God of Destruction, Darkness, and Death. We get Roman’s backstory and learn how he became the Black Volhv. He’s grumpy, but also has a soft spot especially for animals. He finds humor to balance out the things he has to do for his God.
This is a nice introduction to the Kate Daniels series and a fabulous treat for fans. I loved this novella. It’s full of mythology, kick-ass characters, humor, and more. I highly recommend Sanctuary and all the books/audiobooks written by Ilona Andrews.

HAWT DAME the GA for Magic Bleeds was spectacular! I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next GA installment in the Kate Daniels series. It’s a full cast. My goodness I loved all the different voices and sound effects. I was on the edge and couldn’t stop listening. At the end we also get Curran’s POV’s and OMG outstanding.
My original review of the book as well as the original regular audio below:
~ 5 Magic Bleeds Stars ~
HAWT DAME! AMAZING! Another winner in the Kate Daniels series.
We are thrown back into Atlanta and a new threat that will expose Kate even more to those she never wanted to find her.
Emotional turmoil & revelations happen in Magic Bleeds. We have relationship issues, hard chooses that will change everyones futures, and a big mystery to solve. If you don’t know by now I am a FAN of the Andrews team and LOVE this series. It has everything an Urban Fantasy needs, action, adventure, a kick-ass heroine, fantastic world building, amazing secondary characters, and so much more.
HAWT Dame! Yep, Kate and Curran’s relationship explodes in this novel in so many ways. Andrea and Raphael end up imploding (big rift) between them and that relationship was looking so good too. Someone from Kate’s bloodline makes a very big and dramatic entrance into her life and we learn so much from this mysterious person. Last Kate has some very hard chooses to make and one that will affect her deeply and change her future.
Magic Bleeds is a book that will take you away with non-stop action, pulling you into a world full of mystery, magic and so much more. Once I picked this book up I could not put it down and then I had to go and start the next book. Must read series!
Audio: The audio is well worth it. Love listening to the Kate Daniels series.

I read Magic Tides and Magic ClaimsI so LOVE returning to the Kate Daniels world and all it’s exceptional characters and astonishing world-building.
I read Magic Tides and Magic Claims when they first came out, so I’ll put those reviews below for you, but let’s talk about the audiobook.
Hillary Huber and Michael Glenn narrate the Wilmington Years which take place a few years after the original series and after Julie and Hugh’s series starters.
The audio narration for both novels is sublime! Hillary Huber does a glorious job with narrating Kate’s POV. The only issue I had was her voice for Curran I just didn’t fall in love with it like I loved Michael Glenn who narrated Curran’s POV.
As always I was captivated and inthralled. I listened to this in one day. Couldn’t stop. I love the humor, astronomical battle scenes, and characters.
I’d highly recommend the Kate Daniels series. Wither you read or listen you’ll be swept away into a magical adventure. I can’t wait for more.

Individual Review on Magic Tides & Magic Claims Magic Tides is book one in the Kate Daniels: Wilmington Years by Ilona Andrews.
This is part of the Kate Daniels world. We get to return to the world and see how Kate, Curran, and their son Conlan are doing after they left Atlanta.
Magic Tides takes the reader around Kate’s new community, including the local Order chapter, the Farm (home of the People in Wilmington), and the local Pack. It sets the scene for future escapades and potential allies and threats.
I adored and loved this shorty story. The tides have other plans then a simple quiet life for Kate, Curran, and Conlan. The story gives us multiple first person POV’s, but most are Kate’s POV. Even though the story is short it packs a tidal wave of a storyline rich with detail and a well-developed plot.
I love how solid Kate and Curran’s relationship is and how they acknowledge, respect, and understand each other. The banter is so much fun.
One could read this as a standalone, but fans will appreciated it the most. I’d recommend reading the Kate Daniels series. As a fan, I liked it and hope we get more stories.

Magic Claims is book two in the Kate Daniels: Welmington Years by Ilona Andrews.
Man oh man I read this in one day. I picked it up and couldn’t stop. I just adore Kate, Curran and the rest of the gang. I’m over the moon to visit my favorite world and characters again.
Kate and Curran can’t say no to a town in danger. We continue the Kate Daniels storyline in this deliciously breath taking installment.
Those coming to the sereis do need to start from the beginning to get the most out of this outstanding world.
Life for Kate and Curran is about to change. Kate is slowly realizing they can’t sustain the domestic life-style they have enjoyed for a few years now. She will need to face who and what they are which means getting back in the game.
The Andrews team know how to draw a reader in, building up the advance and let them enjoy a ride of their life. We are treated to duel POV’s; Kate and Curran. I love seeing their romance and partnership. It’s so strong. The core group that sounds them continues to grow and Conlan is such a cool child. It love seeing him grow up. As for the evil in the woods. It was cool to discover what was menacing the town and I loved the parallel made between the evil and Kate/Curran. The future looks to be interesting.
I will say I was hoping for more at the end with all the cool things Kate/Curren discover, but I am content. Maybe one day we will find out.
Magic Claims is a great mix of humor, magic, mystery, action and adventure. Urban Fantasy fans you must read this sereis. It’s an adventure you can surely enjoy over and over again.

You can read this before starting the sereis or after any book in the sereis. I read this after reading the first three books in the Mackenzie Green sereis. It was so nice to return to the beginning before the guild was a guild.
We follow Curtis as he uses his gift to save a child and build his guild Catch and Release. We see how the other guilds in Green River are all about money, murder, and mayhem. Curtis will make a Guild that is different and will save the city, but he can’t do it alone.
This story is fun and entertaining. I loved this story. Loved going back to the beginning and learning about Curtis and how his power works. This is a great read.

We start shortly after the events in book one. Mack ends up accepting a gig to be a bodyguard for three nights. Turns out her employer is the man she’s got a crush on.
Mackenzie is such a great character. She’s strong yet venerable shy yet outgoing. Her power is growing and her desire to protect her family and others is powerful.
We get mysteries inside mysteries. I was captivated. The romance is slowly growing past the awkward stage and progressing. The world is great and the characters are interesting.
I enjoyed that we got more of our hero The Dragon Protector.
Green Mage was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the storyline and mysteries. I can’t wait to see were things go in the overall ARC and with our characters.

This novel was a recommendation on Kindle Unlimited after I read The Death Before Dragons series.
My fist impression was this has the set up of the Kate Daniels series, but also different. It’s fast-paced and action-packed. Featuring a kick-ass heroine with significant powers trying to hide in plan sight from those that created her. We’re treated to mysteries inside mysteries. Twists and turns that keep you on your toes. The author also does a superb job of building the world and explaining all the different factions, supernaturals, and how the world became what it is.
The beginning was a bit slow, but things do soon pick up and you’re on a wild ride. I loved the verity of supernaturals. I also enjoyed the mysteries. We get several side-characters that add to the story and make you want to know their secrets.
There is a potential for a romance, but that’s not the focus. We see it build slow and it doesn’t come to fruition until book 3. Yes, I binged the first 3 books. What took this novel down was seeing Mackenzie go mushy over our hero who is awful to her from the start and me not seeing any redeeming qualities on him in this novel.
Green Gryphon was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the magic, mystery, and adventure. It’s a mix of Hidden Legacy and Kate Daniels for those that like those worlds. As I said I binged the three books out and hope more are coming. Love the cover!

Val finds herself in another predicament. She can’t say no to helping out Nin’s long lost grandfather. I enjoyed the mystery and reveals in this novel. We get twists and turns, plus some drama. Val handles it all with grace and maturity.
It’s been a journey for Val and I liked seeing her develop and change throughout the series. She finally finds someone to open up to. We see her strengths develop like her learn to use her magic and her sword work improving. We’ve also seen her improve her reputation in the supernatural world.
I was happy with Val and Zav’s relationship in this book. They are finally in a good spot together and they overcame the last of the barriers and secrets between them. I like that they finally cement their relationship.
Zav has learned a lot about humans and he appreciates Val, but he’s still his arrogant dragon self. I liked seeing him grow.
Storm Forged was a great read! We got to see Val end up with a family that likes and loves her as she is and we get to meet so many wonderful characters plus its full of action-packed adventure. Fans of Urban Fantasy will enjoy this series.

Tainted Kiss is book one in the Watcher’s Kiss series by Sharon Kay.
Ria and Arawn are both Watchers. They have been attracted to each other for some time, but neither one has done anything about it. Not until Ria is hurt. I really liked Ria. She is strong, feisty, and loyal to her friends, family, and comrades. Everything a heroine should be. I also liked Arawn. He is the Commander of the Watchers, leader of the Lush demons, and all the decisions he makes is to protect his race and realm. He does have a deep dark secret that he is desperately trying to keep hidden and he knows it will disgust everyone.
We get some great sexual tension between Ria and Arawn and once these two give in, boy oh boy, do the pages heat up. There is a new evil that our characters must fight. The storyline was intriguing and kept me glued to the pages. I also enjoyed the world and secondary characters.
Note: This is my first experience with Sharon Kay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I did feel like I was missing something thou. Like there should or are books before Tainted Kiss. This feeling comes from how the author started Tainted Kiss with a war that just ended, someone in a comma, and already we have several Watcher couples mated together. I did a little research and the Watcher’s Kiss series is a spin off from her Solsti Prophecy series.
Can you read this one without having read the Solsti Prophecy series? Yes you can, but you might get better enjoyment and understanding of the world and it’s characters if you read the Solsti Prophecy first. I plan on reading her other series, so I have the full scope of things.
Overall, Tainted Kiss was a marvelous read, for not having read the other series first.

This is my fist taste of K.F. Breene. I’ve had the Fire and Ice Trilogy on my TBR for a while now and I’m so glad I picked it up. I devoured Reagan’s story which are the first three books in the series.
This is a fantastic start to unique Urban Fantasy series. I adored this book and was hooked from beginning to end. It’s an exciting, fun, and action-packed read.
Reagan is a supernatural bounty hunter in New Orleans and The Realm. She’s strong, independent, sassy and at times smart mouthed.
Darius is an elder vampire and has a strong personality.
The novel is full of magic, vampires, shifters, and so much more. The romance is smoldering and a slow burn. The world building is exceptional. The secondary characters are enjoyable and the interactions between them keeps the story flowing. The storyline is intriguing and fun.
Born in Fire is a remarkable read. I very much enjoyed and highly recommend for urban fantasy fans.

I don't remember visiting his home, but I loved it. Ella is the good girl and she still was, but I felt this time around she was a little to good, if that can be a thing. Really nothing new. I adored Nightwing and my views and rating haven't changed. A fabulous series to read; especially if you are a dragon fan.
~ 4.5 Nightbloom Stars ~
Nightbloom is book three in the Nightwing series by Juliette Cross.
There is just some enchanting about these Morgon men. I am in love and have been addicted since reading book one, Soulfire. The Morgon men have this raw sexual nature that gets your blood boiling and they also protect their mate with such fierceness. I was pulled into Nightbloom from begging to end and could not put it down.
Paxon Nightwing knows that Ella is the one and he sees Ella for who she is and can be. He is confident and sure of himself, but not in an arrogant way, oh no, in a very sexy Morgon/dragon way. I loved him.
Ella is the good girl. She does what is expected of her and she still lives at home enjoying the close relationship she shares with her parents. She is shy and keeps her talent hidden never showing her art to anyone. I enjoyed her transformation from shy to sure of herself.
At the begging is she dating Clayton. Why? Well it makes her parents happy and to say the least they look good together in their social structure. All I can say is Clayton is a dick. He puts on an act in front of her parents, but you can tell he really does not care for Ella. I wanted to smack Ella and say, hey you need to kick this guy to the curb and stand up for yourself. I loved watching Ella come out of her shell, learn that it does not matter what everyone thinks or feels; because she is an amazing women, with an outstanding talent and that their is a man who sees her and will stand buy her always.
The plot is straight forward, with some secrets and blackmail coming to light. The romance was sweet and sexy. The story gives us another tempting look into the world of Morgons’ and it’s city of Gladium, where humans and Morgon’s are slowly bringing their lives together.
Nightbloom is sweet, sexy, and satisfying. The author has done it again. I highly recommend picking up this series. I can’t wait for more.

Another outstanding read in the Eternal Mates series. I always look forward to diving back into this series and world. Felicity Heaton is an amazing writer who can bring the world and characters to life. Each new installment brings me something new to fall in love with.
Oh My Hartt! We finally get his romance. We first meet him way back in the series. He’s the head assassin at the best assassin guild in hell and friends/brother with Fuery. This man kicks-ass and takes no names.
Mackenzie is something else. She can give as good as she gets and matches Hartt in every way. She’s also an assassin, but her guild isn’t on the map, yet. This latest job could put her guild at the top, but theirs competition.
Let’s say the sexual tension is scorching. I loved the build up in the romance department and all the fights which felt like for-play to what is to come. Hartt and Mackenzie are a perfect match in and out of the bedroom.
The job that brought these two together, well it’s more then it seems. We soon learn why they were hired and what the outcome was to be, but the tables get turned.
Scored by Darkness is full of action, nail biting moments, passion and characters that are spellbinding. The story kept me entertained from start to finish. I loved it and can’t wait to dive into the next installment.

I’ve been a fan of this series since day one and always look forward to a new book. Seduced by a Demon King is the seventeenth novel in the Eternal Mates series.
The Eternal Mates series delivers a verity of unique characters to relate to and enjoy. The world-building is marvelous and continues to grow. I can never get enough of this world and its characters.
In this novel we are treated to Suki, a succubus, and King Tegan of the Second Realm, a demon. Tegan never wanted to be King and is a warrior at heart, so he feels trapped, bored, and lost. He plans an escape into the mortal world and finds himself meeting a succubus who changes his world. Suki isn’t your typical succubus. She struggles with her abilities, fears of killing her mark, and being accepted by her clan.
Suki and Tegan’s romances morphed from a simple seduction into a sweet and scoring romance. It’s a slow burn with some clumsy moments, sexual tension, and drama. It’s not an easy love story. They both are hiding things and are afraid to be loved, but in the end they see what each means to the other.
Heaton does a great job bringing characters from previous books and other series, that are in the same world, into the story. These appearances are short, fun, and enjoyable.
Seduced by a Demon King delivered another captivating and enchanting read. I look forward to diving into the next installment in the Eternal Mates series.
Sweep of the Heart is book five in the Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona Andrews.
Sweep of the Heart takes us back to Diana's Inn. We finally get to learn Sweep of the Heart is book five in the Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona Andrews.
Sweep of the Heart takes us back to Diana's Inn. We finally get to learn more about Caldayan, her past and her family. WOW it was so great to learn more about Caldayan. We also get a few answers as to what happened to Diana's parents inn, but there are so many more questions. I loved seeing Shan work so well with Diana. They are a power couple. And, last the artwork is superb.
This time we have a mate selection taking part in the Inn. I enjoyed the mate selection; though I'm not a fan of the Bachelorette or Bachelor TV shows, so this type of thing isn't my thing, but Andrews made this one exciting and interesting adding intrigue and great fantasy world building.
The one thing I'm not a fan of is the recap at the begging of each chapter. It’s ok on the blog for the weekly thing to refresh people’s minds, but for the finished published version it didn't work for me. I could have not read that part, but really when you have a book you read it all.
As always I love returning to the Innkeeper World. The end was by far the best and I can't wait for the next installment. The Andrews team created another spectator novel in the Innkeeper Chronicles.
Rated: 4 Stars
2024 Graphic Audio: I loved all the special effects. The story still drags. It starts off great then eh and back to great. Not a fan of the wife selection. That is where the story drags. Other then that the GA is a fun listen.
