But man has been dreaming of a life of rest ever since. Man's quest for wealth is a symptom of his desire to be free from the painful toil and sweat that has held him prisoner his entire life. Wealth lures us with the possible escape to a place of rest-a place where we can focus on what we really want to do, live lives full of purpose instead of survival." (Gary Keesee, Your Financial Revolution: The Power of Rest, Page 105)
Apparently, the author is writing 5 books in what he calls the "Financial Revolution" series. This book is the second book of the series, and it covers entering into the rest of God, as it relates to finances. I began by reading the second book first, so I'll have to go back and read his first book entitled, Your Financial Revolution: The Power of Allegiance.
God has shown the author that it was not His plan in the beginning that we should live a life of financial stress, and it's not His plan today. He says, "His promises give us a promise of healing, restoration, financial increase, and so much more-not of just having the ability to suffer through hardship or disaster."
The author uses many illustrations from the Word of God that show God's provision, His plan for us to have more than enough, the double portion, overflow...to be free from the earth curse system: the earth curse system is the system of having to toil and sweat (See Genesis 3:17-19).
If you want to learn a little more about how to enter God's rest concerning your finances, then this book should not be missed!

(Derek Prince, Prophetic Guide to the End Times: Facing the Future Without Fear, Page 15)
The author does not believe that wars and rumours of wars, false christs, deception, the love of many growing cold, evil and wickedness, pestilences, signs in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, earthquakes, famines, or sorrows... are the sign of the end. He believes that when the Gospel is preached in the all the world, that this is the sign [singular] of the end. He teaches that the disciples asked Jesus this same question when He was on earth: "What will be the one sign of the end of the age?" (See Matthew 24:3-14). He says, "When we get to Matthew 24:14 we have the answer:'And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.' When will the end come? When this Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations...The Church is the only group of people who can bring about the closing sign of the age-the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom."
All these signs are indicators that Jesus is coming soon; however, "the sign of the end of this present world" is when all the world hears the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We as believers have this task before us to take this Gospel into all the world as a witness to all nations. Then the end will come. Anyone who is a student of the Bible knows that when Jesus is telling His disciples to take the Gospel "to all the world" it does not mean that you have to book a flight to every nation. It means to take the Gospel into the grocery store, into your workplace, into your family gatherings, into all places that you find yourself in. Jesus was actually saying, "as you go" preach the gospel. That means wherever you find yourself, share the Gospel, as the Holy Spirit leads. The Holy Spirit has come upon you to be Christ's witnesses. As you preach the Gospel, the Lord will confirm His Word with signs, wonders and miracles following. He will work with you to confirm His Word is The Truth.
There is much more in this book that I cannot get into here, but it has many good insights into the end times and facing the future without fear.
