3.5 stars This is an omegaverse novella that takes place in the twelve sectors it focuses on Phee she is the sister of Naya a previous heroine and Alreck one of her mate Darre’s men. So Naya is home to introduce her bonded Alpha to her family and Phee is expected to be in attendance. When the big rough alpha Alreck kick starts Phee’s stunted genetics triggering her estrus cycle she finds herself totally embracing this unexpected turn of events.
I’ll be honest From what I have seen previously of Phee I wasn’t exactly a fan she came across as shallow filled with self-importance and frankly not that nice of a person. Initially when this begin I thought little had changed with her but then as the story unfolded I realised that Phee was in a downward spiral and is now questioning everything she thought she believed in even her own mother
Suffering from an early menopause and abandoned by her contracted mate Phee just wants to hide away from the world she’s filled with self-loathing and has realised too late just how empty her prior existence was. Now a broken omega back under her mother's roof she’d give anything for a second chance and she now gets this in the form of Alreck.
So this was well written and did feel fleshed out enough which is always a big consideration of mine when it comes to novellas. it probably did help that these weren’t new characters so I knew some about them already. I did wish it had been longer and I felt that the first three quarters was so beautifully done whilst the last bit the actual mating part was maybe a tad rushed. I still enjoyed it and do rate it but I also feel this part of the story could have been much stronger than it was.
Phee did actually manage to win me around here I do think they’ll always be a bit of the self-involved about her it’s just in her nature to attempt to manipulate those around her but with a strong alpha like Alreck keeping her in check she’ll be fine he’s actually good for her and takes none of her nonsense. This was a good appetiser which definitely whetted my appetite ready for the next main event and I’m hoping that will be another full size read set in this fascinating world of alphas and omegas. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Her True Alpha (The Twelve Sectors #2.5).
I enjoyed this one a lot and will now definitely be reading other stuff by this author in the future. This is omegaverse and it was done [image] [image]
I enjoyed this one a lot and will now definitely be reading other stuff by this author in the future. This is omegaverse and it was done very well it was also quite explicit which is as you would expect from this particular genre and I did especially appreciate this.
It’s set in a modern society but with alpha omega and beta dynamics in place. Leigh a reporter presents during an electoral candidacy press conference catching the attention of all in attendance including mayor candidate Peter Leod.
This brings her fully to his attention and he definitely wants to know more, there’s danger and heat and also some added dark themes and it really was such an easy page-turner. Peter a liberal has up until now has tried to suppress his alpha instincts but Leigh’s arrival in his life changes all that bringing all of his aggression and protective instincts to the forefront.
It was really well written and though not a very long read it delivered on all fronts. If you’ve read this genre type before you’ll know just what to expect if not just a heads up it gets very dirty, but it still has a fully developed story arc running through. Definitely recommend this one if you like omegaverse that’s not too dark. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Alpha (Alpha Ties #1).
Oh wow this was so good I’m blown away with how much I enjoyed this and I couldn’t put it down I was that invested. This is a new series [image] [image]
Oh wow this was so good I’m blown away with how much I enjoyed this and I couldn’t put it down I was that invested. This is a new series for this author set in the Anarcheim universe it’s a brutal hierarchy of Alpha Betas and Omegas and the Alphas rule it all with an iron fist. This one is such a genre mash-up which I adored the Brotherhood which rules this universe is made up of various crime syndicates and this is a combination of Darkness, Sci-Fi, Mafia and omegaverse all rolled into one.
The Omega here Dahlia is the daughter of Olan Lundin he is the head of the Lundin syndicate. Because of prior events, the Lundin’s and Skolov’s are at war and The Ruthless king, Nikolai Skolov and head of the Skolov syndicate is gunning for the whole Lundin clan and the key to there total annihilation may just lie with one little Omega one who also just happens to be Nikolai’s fated mate.
Dahlia finds herself being used as collateral to pay a debt owed from her father to her mate and being redefined as his property. But her alpha also has plans to unlock and access her special gift one that has lain dormant for years. This one definitely had a dark vein running through it but being omegaverse it also was easier to accept. The connection between Alpha and Omega was intense and sizzled off the page and this one was scorching hot in temperature.
This is essentially an enemy to lovers trope with the lover's bit, because of the alpha and omega dynamic happening fairly swiftly. But though her alpha may have her body she still tries to stay strong against his magnetic allure. Nikolai himself is quite brutal and crude but this a lot is due to his past and just what he has had to overcome to keep his family safe. He’s not always that nice to Dahlia initially in his actions and words and this instantly sets them up as adversaries.
initially, he tries to fight his new emotional bonds believing them a weakness he can’t afford but at the same time he also craves the closeness and connection, it doesn’t come naturally to him being so vulnerable to another and he initially fights his feelings. By contrast, Dahlia is much softer her gentler nature offsetting her mates. But this softness doesn’t affect her strength and Dahlia has a core of steel when it comes to protecting those she cares about. She may be an omega in dynamic but she doesn’t allow this to define her character and refuses to be cowed and defeated. Even going as far as to make desperate choices that will only open her Alphas eyes further regarding her true worth to him.
This had some fabulous world-building and great secondary characters. It’s very well written and this author's books just keep on getting better I’m seriously impressed. I can’t wait to read more set in this fascinating new world and will definitely be picking up the next book in this series this really was fabulous and I highly recommend. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Ruthless King (Ruthless Warlords #1).

I read Zoey Ellis’s contribution it’s set in the beholden duet world. It features King Allandis and princess Elyanna and how they first met. It was a short but very satisfying omegaverse read that had heat and no angst. It was a quick but still very enjoyable foray into that world almost a glimpse behind the curtain if you will. I voluntary reviewed a copy of A Royal Harmony.

I really enjoyed the concluding part of this Alpha and Omega duet. It was fast-paced and well written with some majorly scorching chemistry. I was an easy page-turner that I read in one sitting and though this was the conclusion of Maddox and Ana’s story I can’t wait to delve more into this fascinating fantasy world maybe with Raine next. Here Ana finally had her eyes opened in regards to the corrupt houses and her people’s plight. Though initially resistant she can’t help but realise that what she’s been told all her life has been to keep her in the dark and compliant. Even Madoc hasn’t been completely honest with her mostly because he wants her to work things out for herself. When she does finally realise the truth of things she steps up to the plate and embraces Maddoc’s and her future wholeheartedly. I adored Maddoc getting his thoughts and impressions this time around gave me such an insight into his overall character and also tempered those first initial impressions I had of him. You really get a sense of who he is and why he has done certain things. It just brought a more human aspect to him and his whole image. This entire story taken as a whole is a five-star read and I do think it works better as one novel rather than separated into two parts. I think it lessens the impact slightly being split up into two. So yep really enjoyed this one and I’m giving it five stars for the entire experience read back to back rather than separately which would be my preference. Big thumbs up from my camp. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of A Tainted Claim (Beholden Duet #2)

This was such a great read and I was glued from the second I picked this up reading this in one sitting. This author consistently delivers and is now a definite one-click for me. This one is set in the same world as Andorra Sector and is also in the sinister fairy tales series but is also a complete unrelated standalone and can be read as such. It’s a loose Snow White retelling that is set in a dystopian omegaverse future complete with wolf-shifters. Snow Frost of winter sector is in danger from her fiancé and her guardian the queen of Mirrors. Smuggled out of her sector on the eve of her wedding for her own safety by her protective seven she finds herself seeking sanctuary. Alpha Kazek of Norse sector is a made wolf and the former assassin the huntsman. He is the wolf that sniffs her out mating her and saving her life in the process ultimately bringing this little omega to heel. In saving her he reluctantly shoulders her responsibilities. Kazek despite his Alpha status prefers being a lone-wolf and answering only to himself and his sector alpha. But with his new mate being the rightful ruler of Winter sector this is no longer an option for him and he will need to do whatever is necessary to achieve their success even if this is something he initially shy’s away from. Snow or Winter as she reinvents herself as is also embracing a whole new reality one she at first struggles to accept and though initially, stubborn she does actually adjust really well and swiftly to her new omega status. So this was gripping and emotional and super hot with some fantastic chemistry. A real page-turner of a read that I enjoyed very much. It’s told in dual POV and I adored both Winter and Kazek equally. Neither were perfect but together they made an unstoppable force each managing to further strengthen the other. I mean even when I wanted to knock some sense into them and they both had their individual moments here I was still was rooting from them all the way. Kazek and Winter are now up there with my favourite book couples ever. This really had it all and It was a really great read one that I highly recommend you give a go. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Winter’s Arrow.
Ana is an omega and a princess and heir to the kingdom of Allandis. Maddoc is an Alpha and notorious criminal. When he calls forth the royal prom[image]
Ana is an omega and a princess and heir to the kingdom of Allandis. Maddoc is an Alpha and notorious criminal. When he calls forth the royal promise on account of a debt he believes he's owed Maddoc demands three nights with Ana as his payment. Setting things in motion and on a course that cannot be averted. So this was seriously hot with a dose of initial humiliation and reluctance that soon starts to morph into something much more. Ana initially seems so sweet, compliant and biddable but underneath the surface of her calm outer layer is a spitting wildcat just waiting to be released and taken in hand by her Alpha. Maddoc is rough, dominant and oh so very male, he also takes what he wants no apologies given. Their chemistry here is delicious and oh so combustible it actually projects its heat off the page with its raw intensity. There are also definitely secrets being kept here and I can only speculate to what they are. What I will say is this Ana seriously needs to take a good look around her and start thinking for herself instead of allowing herself to be so complacent and naive to the games and wills of others. So with that finale, I Seriously need the next part of this like right now sigh. I voluntary reviewed a copy of A Savage Debt (Beholden Duet, #1).
This is a reverse-Harem Irish shifter dark paranormal romance. So, brothers, Dubhlainn, Quinn, Finn, Cabhan and Malachi are banished from there [image]
This is a reverse-Harem Irish shifter dark paranormal romance. So, brothers, Dubhlainn, Quinn, Finn, Cabhan and Malachi are banished from there home village and the pack by their Alpha father and sent out into the world to find compatible mates to breed. The first who accomplishes this will then take over leadership from there father. Raine is human but with unique pheromones that call to the brothers base animal instincts. They hunt her over the course of a month, eventually cornering and running her to ground taking her back to there den where each wolf plans to try their luck at knotting and breeding her something that Raine a virgin is so not on board with. Raine is certainly no pushover and fights tooth and nail to evade her fate at the hands of this feral pack of brothers. But one thing she can't avoid is going into Estrus and what this does to the pack's inner wolves. with their animals running the show, Raines experience is awful, brutal and traumatising. The only one with any sort of control seems to be the eldest brother and unofficial alpha of the pack Dubhlainn. He is the only one not cowed by his wolf working instead in tandem and attempting to show Raine the care and compassion she deserves. So this had many triggers throughout these boys basically kidnap Raine holding her against her will and their inner wolves totally traumatise and brutalise her that is until Dubh the alpha takes control of the pack keeping the others in check and accountable. As horrific as this initially was for Raine I could kind of deal mainly I think because this was paranormal and shifter and all animal instinct rather than just your garden variety abuse. It somehow made it easier to accept, it still wasn't in any way right but it sort of made it easier to understand. This also had some slight omegaverse elements to it like nesting, knotting and such but it wasn't actually omegaverse more paranormal shifter and If non-consent and rape is a trigger for you then best avoid as this is not dubious consent in any form it's straight-up non-con at least initially. The boys are ashamed by there actions but all except the Alpha are initially unable to fight their animal genetics and instincts when it comes to Raine and her scent. Dubhlainn then realises just what he has set into motion in regards to his new mate and his initial lack of protection and care and experiences deep regrets in the way he has handled things. Raines presence also causes the pack dynamics to shift causing hidden strife among the pack as they start to challenge there alpha and his control of the situation. So this wasn't actually as straightforward as I was expecting it to be it also went places I wasn't prepared for taking me aback slightly. Also, I don't know if I'd label this one that dark, I've read a lot worse than this. The non-consent aspect of this is certainly dark stuff but as for the rest because of the remorse, it kind of took the sting out of it slightly. Finally, I adored the epilogue, it was sentimental and sweet which felt like a breath of fresh air after all the previous happenings. I felt it was a much need injection of light after all that dark. This is certainly not going to be to everyone's liking mainly because of the dark content but myself I liked it. It was different and unique even when it was uncomfortable reading at times I still kept turning the pages. Oh and a heads up this is actually banned on amazon so you will need to purchase it from Smashwords.

This is a spin-off novella set in the same world as Andorra sector. Especially adoring that one I was really looking forward to this one. So here we have Elias and Daciana, Alpha and Omega, the former an X-Clan wolf and the latter Ash wolf. An experiment between the two packs to see if they are compatible as future mates. Daciana's upbringing and past experiences have scarred her, her late mother a beta died by the hands of cruel Alpha's and this has shaped her thoughts and left her distrustful and suspicious of all Alphas motives and ultimate intentions especially towards her an omega. Elias is second in command to Ander he is in charge of all security when it comes to his pack. He instantly feels drawn to the tiny meek omega female wanting to protect and cosset her shielding her from any ill intentions. So right from the start here I could feel the deep connection these two were forming. This was so heartfelt but at the same time was super hot and sexy. I really appreciated the stripped back low angst feel this had. enjoyed this a lot it was a great addition to the series and I am looking forward to reading more set in this world. I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Experiment (X-Clan #2)
I really enjoyed Choosing her Alpha like massively: I read this on wattpad initially and was instantly transfixed this was just so imaginative [image]
I really enjoyed Choosing her Alpha like massively: I read this on wattpad initially and was instantly transfixed this was just so imaginative with a story that pulled me into the unfolding narrative almost instantly. So this was a reread after the author decided to publish and I am so ecstatic other's will now get the chance to experience this fabulous story on a much wider basis. Let me tell you it was no actual hardship reading this again I adored it just as much this time around, definitely the sign of an excellent read that. I am all for the feels and how I ultimately connect with a story, So when rating this I ultimately went with my gut and not only could I not put this down I was actually mesmerised and so emotionally invested in what was actually unfolding. So fantastic and imaginative world-building that didn't information dump on me (big plus point) a lot of authors can actually lose a reader here. This was set against a backdrop of Alphas, Beta and Omegas and then drones which are basically at the bottom. Drones are really just basically what's left of the humans gene-pool. Drone science has produced the original Alpha and with evolution, the breeds are now the ruling class. So our Omega here is young Sasha a breed approaching her first estrous. Current events with her troubled home life lead to her approaching the warlord Constantine Kane to make a bargain. Well, Kane might just be my favourite Alpha ever: not only did he take care of Sasha in such a protective and kind way treating her like the precious cargo she was he worked with her waiting patiently until such time she was ready to be a breedmate. So discount Sasha’s young age here this was not in any way creepy at all mainly I think because this is Omegaverse so it's all about biological urges and such and also the way this handled things. When it came to the heat here this was bloody scorching this author can sure write a combustible sex scene that makes you tingle in all the right ways I was seriously impressed at how hot this was. I also adored the slow-burn dynamic between Sasha and Kane it was really well done. So yeh safe to say I loved this and I think this new writer is a definite emerging talent and certainly one to watch out for. This was just magic and I was completely captivated throughout hard to believe this is actually a debut author, seriously impressed, I will be keeping an eye on this author as she just ticks all my boxes. Everyone just needs to go out and read this book especially if you love omegaverse this is one of the good ones and gets massive hell yeh from my camp. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Choosing Her Alpha.

I loved this just as much as I did the first book by this author. Her Broken Alpha is set[image] This one is now up for purchase on Amazon folks YAY!!!!
I loved this just as much as I did the first book by this author. Her Broken Alpha is set in the same dystopian omegaverse world as choosing her Alpha and features Kane's brother the Mad Monster of Sector 2 Nothonal Darre who has been stuck in a permanent rut for years one that has almost driven him mad. You don't need to have read the previous book for clarity and this can be read as a complete standalone. This one, unlike its predecessor, is told in dual POV which I do prefer. This had a slightly different flavour and was much more animalistic than the previous book and I really adored that factor about this. This was also very fast burn and we jump swiftly into the action here. So here Naya a privileged omega from sector 5 is preparing for her upcoming bonding when she is kidnapped from her bed and transported to the lawless sector 2 where Monster/Darre is the presiding Alpha and here she is presented to him as a gift. The animal inside Darre instantly gravitates towards this small omega and with Naya’s own heat starting she’s all animal instinct as her inner omega recognises her true Alpha and they bond cementing there mating. Monster is such a different character when compared to his brother Kane and this one is pretty graphic in terms of the blood and the violence. I adored the contrast between how he was with others and then how he behaved towards Naya, He was such a scary tyrant but then with his omega, he was so sweetly gruff and concerned but at the same time also so alpha attitude, be still my knees when he went all feral and growly. In fact, I really appreciated all that feral dynamic here. I enjoyed this may be slightly more than it’s predecessor and I definitely want to read more set in this fascinating world. Finally, I loved that Naya accepted her monster for himself not asking him to change he was hers fully heart and soul the good and the bad included. This was a five-star experience it’s all about the connection for me and this delivered in every way. This author has such talent in her ability to craft a story and the way this managed to suck me in and immerse me fully in the unfolding drama that's a super-power all by itself. Anything that can keep me that transfixed is a definite winner from my end. so yep totally recommend this 100% got to Be up there with my all-time favourites and I will be watching in pure appreciation to see what this author produces next. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Her Broken Alpha.
This instalment was so fab, just adored the addition of that conniving and sneaky doll. Kieran has made his bed and he is so not a happy camper [image]
This instalment was so fab, just adored the addition of that conniving and sneaky doll. Kieran has made his bed and he is so not a happy camper for it even going as far as to blame the mouse for his current predicament with her unwanted replacement. In fact, the power play between the boys in Ravaged Captive was fascinating to observe and as far as I can see Toby is the one that's thinking with his right head where Kieran here seems to be more a creature of instinct unnecessarily rocking the boat and antagonising Caspian. Caspian also now seems to be completely enamoured of his mouse wanting her to like him best of all. Which in turn has a domino effect on the pack hierarchy. So despite the extremities of this story, I am now just so addicted to these power plays of dominance and submission and as soon as I know a new episode is heading my way I drop everything to immerse myself in this cruel dystopian omegaverse serial its just that addictive. Really want to know now just what that shady doll is up to she sure is one to watch. This series does need to be read in order and also be aware that this is dark reverse-harem omegaverse: not a romance. So yep really enjoyed this one. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Ravaged Captive (Wren’s Song, #4).

Broken Captive part 3 of Wren's story was super dark and diabolic. It was everything thing broken and messed up wrapped up in one big dirty filthy dystopian bow. This wasn't romantic in any shape or form and Caspian, Toby and Kieran are psychotic power hungry man-whores who lack a basic conscience or any sort of compassion and empathy. Well, I might give Toby a pass; hes just your garden variety psycho and can even be somewhat sweet in a scary serial killer sort of way. But the point is the story should have had me screaming for the hills it's just that extreme and wrong. But what should turn me the hell off here did the exact opposite and made me dig in my heels for the long haul. So I originally swung back and forth between a four and five rating here but decided to go with my gut as this was such compelling reading that I couldn't put it down: whether you love this or hate it this is one story that you won't forget in a hurry its certainly in a league all of its own in that respect. If you think you can handle this level of dark then this one certainly delivers on that front. Just please be aware this series is hardcore and doesn't pull its punches one little bit. I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Broken Captive (Wren's Song, #3). All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Reign To Rule is the much-anticipated conclusion to Malloron and Amara's tale and what a finale this was I am suitably impressed with how well [image]
Reign To Rule is the much-anticipated conclusion to Malloron and Amara's tale and what a finale this was I am suitably impressed with how well the author has connected all the threads here and given such a fantastic heartwarming outcome. After the cliffhanger events of the previous instalment, I really couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this and I certainly wasn't disappointed. This is a five star read all the way: one filled with so much emotional turmoil. So, After what Maloron sees as Amara's betrayal he has now closed himself off to protect his newly discovered fragile heart from future hurt and pain: going against his very Alpha nature he almost rejects His Omega causing so much distress and confusion on the part of Amira. Amara herself is also conflicted but knows that ultimately what she wants is to build a bridge and connect properly as a mated and soul-bonded pair. Here we are finally treated to answers and Malloron himself makes the ultimate sacrifice of devotion which leaves Amara in no doubt of his care and affections. Malloron really does evolve as a ruler here Amara's influence having such a positive effect on his whole attitude. Don't get me wrong he is still the stubborn self-serving man we have come to love but with a new focus: honouring and pleasing his queen: baby steps. So where one door closes another does open and Reign to rule sets the stage nicely for its next focus and I for one can't wait to continue exploring this fascinating imaginative world. This is a fabulous Omegaverse series that I recommend highly. I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Reign To Rule (Myth of Omega, #6). All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Book five is this fantastic Omegaverse series starts almost immediately in the aftermath of its predecessor. After the shocking finale of the last instalment, I was gagging to continue with this. It was quickly apparent that Malloron was distraught with what his own actions had brought in relation to Amara and desperately wants to fix his mistake: he also realises that she is it for him and is also his fated mate. Not that this is holding much weight with Amara as she has now lost the small amount of trust she originally had for Malloron. Malloron himself is unapologetic in his own behaviour and actual intention and just wants Amara to admit she is his: Amara, of course, is fighting him every step of the way. I must admit I was getting quite frustrated with Amara’s whiny behaviour and refusal to compromise: Malloron was actually being more open and affectionate here. I just wanted her to get a grip and be honest with her self about her own internal wants and also just to realise that yeh Malloron is mainly a product of his unusual upbringing and certain conditioning from his father and maybe judge him to a slightly different standard because of it. His childhood and lack of healthy role models and relationships have left him with a warped moral compass and his way of dealing has always been to manipulate and cajole. This is his default function and Amara needs to get on board with this if these two are to move forward. I actually felt a trifle sorry for the king here when he was purring and trying to bring Amara some comfort. So here we have that much anticipated purring and knotting that I have been eagerly waiting for and all was going swimmingly until everything went to hell in a handbasket. Didn't see that one coming at all: what a finale. I really don't know how we are going to recover from this one: a fantastic finish. This is one series I can hand on heart highly recommend to you. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Reign To Ravage (Myth of Omega, #5). All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Reign to Ruin is book four in this addictive Omegaverse series. This particular instalment centres on Alpha King Malloron of Eiros and the Omega Amara a spy masquerading as a servant within the royal castle. My first experience with this author but definitely won't be my last as this was such fantastically engrossing stuff. So after Amara is discovered by the king red-handed the two strike a bargain though somewhat reluctantly on Amari's behalf and as a result, Amara finds herself at the mercy of not just Malloron's twisted desires but also that of her own awakening appetites. So these two were certainly at loggerheads throughout. I thought Malloron himself used his way of taking Amara: restrained and at his mercy, as a way to create distance between them both and to keep things as impersonal as possible. fooling himself into a misguided sense of control over the entire situation. This also, in my opinion, started off quite slow: but building momentum as the story unfolded. So, questions I now have after finishing this: Is Malloron quite what he seems? What's the deal with the children in the red dungeon? There is so much mystery surrounding events here and I for one can't wait to discover more. I will also say this wasn't quite as dark as I was originally expecting: it had its moments but had so much light to counterbalance the darker tones and the relationship between Malloron and Amara was a good mix his dark against her naive lighter nature. Ultimately counterbalancing each other. On a final note that cliffhanger: what a doozy: it was very unexpected (though in hindsight). Fear, not folks part two is already out and the final episode releases very shortly. This is a really strong start to Malloron and Amara's journey can't wait to see what happens next. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Reign to Ruin (Myth of Omega, #4). All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Branded Captive itself is one of the most debauched and filthy [image]
Oh My Oh My!! Mouth Drop to the floor folks
[image]
This book is FILTHY!!!
Branded Captive itself is one of the most debauched and filthy and did I mention depraved folks: (as my brains gone bye byes for the moment after wallowing around in that murky cesspit of sinful degeneracy.) That I have experienced in a very long time and I devoured every decadent perverted instance portrayed here like with tongue hanging out: god I'm such a deviant!!!
So now with my twisted tendencies exposed for all to see, Taking a bow here folks. I'm going to put out there that this is not a story for everybody: this is a tale that will push your limits to the maximum and if you are not a fan of dub-consent type erotica please give this a miss. This is the darkest yet of this author's omegaverse fiction and this is so not the story to toe-dip the waters with I can assure you. So this is a reverse harem type omegaverse story set against a dismal dystopian backdrop. You can almost taste the desperation and despair in the air. Our three alphas Caspian, Kieran and Toby are so completely bad and unredeemable they are so not good guys and are used to taking what they want and in this instant, they want Wren one defective mute albino Omega and they are prepared to use whatever means to get her to comply and in this instance with her adoptive foundlings health at risk Wren knows her options are severely limited here. What sets this particular author apart is her ability to blend such a fully dimensional storyline within the erotic narrative she doesn't scrimp on the background and world building and I always know I'm going to get something well written if hard hitting in places. Branded Captive is the first part of a trilogy parts one and two are already out and this instalment is told from the top Alpha Caspian and Wren's POV. This is dark omegaverse folks, please take heed and know your limits this is not a romance. This one gets a very twisted thumbs up from me. I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Branded Captive (Wren's Song, #1). All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

5 Stars Arc Book Review Release Date-30/8/18
Oh my friggen god I bloody adored The Golden Line (Knotted,#1) like so much. Just when I think it can't get any better than my previous Addison experience I get this little gem. I don't really want to share this; nope nope nope. I want to keep the delectable delicious Simin and all his deep grumbly purrs all to myself; he's not yours girls; This Adorable Alpha is all mine.
Okay okay, I suppose I'm being greedy trying to keep Simin all to myself I can share the love if I absolutely have to. So this was really a tale of two halves for me; one of which I entered rather blindly. I really was quite literally in the dark towards where this was ultimately heading. Experiencing alongside Morgaine her frightful treatment at the hands of her Alpha tormentors. I was there as they broke her with there unapologetic conditioning and as she hit rock bottom my heart hurt so much for this poor confused and traumatised girl. Frantically looking around for someone to save her I was losing all hope. That was why it was so special to see Simin take a step out of the stereotypical box and attempt with his whole entire being to rebuild Morgaine's shattered psyche. To come along and take this supposed feral omega for himself but also to actually see her as an individual and person in her own right was bewitching. So this one for me; had as ever everything that I usually find captivating and hypnotic when it comes to this authors work. All the usual magnetism you'd expect was still produced but this was alongside a much more softer overall approach when it came to her Alpha than we are usually given. Don't mistake me Simin is as Alpha as they come but he also came with the ability to place his omega at a much higher importance than his own needs and wants and it was magic.

Simin understood the best way to gain his omega Morgaine's heart was ultimately through her trust; he had her lust but as his end game he wanted her soul also. He was much more romantic than his predecessors and was not afraid to voice his feelings but rather than emasculating him it only enhanced his overall allure.

I also think taking away the ability to communicate through language and only through an interpreter brought a new layer to Alpha and Omega expectations. Much more care was taken considerably on Simin's part because of the lack of verbal cues. It made it much more crucial to observe the non-verbal signs in each other. So this had everything you would usually expect from this series but with such a difference in approaches than what we are usually used to. I have to say, I'm equally a fan of both ways. I also loved the finale here; where it left us, on edge and salivating at the mouth for that next anticipated instalment. I feel like I am poised, waiting, breathe bated in expectation; the scene has been set with such finesse. Addison Cains omegaverse universe is fast becoming one of my all-time favourite series I can't get enough of it, whatever light the participants are portrayed in. So before I go I should mention that this is an extended reworked story from the Royally Mine anthology that was originally titled Consumed. That was a short story that is no longer available; "The Golden Line" is now a full-length novel and has been extensively improved on. This is a series I can't recommend highly enough and gets my whole-hearted seal of approval every single time. Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC of "The Golden Line (Knotted,#1)" of which I have reviewed voluntary. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️STARS ARC BOOK REVIEW Release Date-3/4/18
So "True North" is the second instalment in this fascinating dystopian YA Trilogy. And out of the two, this was hands down my favourite. This just seemed to have a much more intense vibe overall than the previous book. The action here was amped up and pumping from the get-go and it stayed constant throughout, with no actual let-up in sight. So this started not long after "True Born left off. With Margot god knows where after being voluntary kidnapped by her parents and the mysterious Leo Resnikov. More than likely to somewhere in Russia. Meanwhile, Lucy herself is beside herself, worried sick and determined to bring her twin home where she belongs. So, Upon realising her tempory guardian Storm has a hidden agenda and is, in fact, pulling his feet in regards to the help he promised. Lucy now decides she only has herself to rely on and sets out to accomplish her goals herself. With the assistance of the enigmatic Alister who upon saving Lucy from a child street gang takes it upon himself to aid her in her future endeavours. And also understandably the protective "True Born" Jared Price also along for the foreseeable ride. These three young individuals set off across oceans and unfamiliar terrain all to attempt bringing Lucy's sister Margot back home to Dominion where she belongs. So in True North, we finally get answers to some of those all important questions. But for every one actually resolved another seemed to pop up in its place. We also get to see a much closer relationship develop between Jared and Lucy with the former practically imprinting on her. One niggle I do have know with this particular storyline is that I just don't get why Jared won't take his relationship with Lucy further. And Lucy does she think she's holding out for something better? What does it matter if Jared goes all beast on her, is there someone else in her crosshairs? That would be my one annoyance I took away from reading this. I just don't get the point here of staying apart. when everything is turning to hell in a handbasket a constant would really be such a comfort. Keeping your options open is a rather unromantic prospect as is saving someone from themselves. Lucy should have turned around and told Jared to get over himself. Why is she using her parents as an excuse as well, geez she should be disowning these un-natural rents. This was also slightly more handsy than the previous book. It was all very mild in nature though with just some light kissing and touching, nothing to stress over it was still very clean and suitably YA. So I found this such an engrossing read and I am really looking forward to the final piece of this trilogy. if you are looking for a good dystopian YA read this one really was a winner for me. So I was kindly provided with an ARC of "True North" By Entangled Teen Publishing and Netgalley of which I have reviewed voluntary. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️STARS ARC BOOK REVIEW Release Date-1/5/18
"True Storm" is a fantastic conclusion to what has been so far a great Imaginative new YA series. Though book two is still hands down my favourite this definitely comes in a very close second. With, as usual, fabulously creative world-building skills and an amazingly diverse cast. This directly from the start places the reader smack bang into the middle of the story and with so many ups and downs and twists and turns I really had no clue what was going to occur next. And if I'm bloody honest here, I had the pants shocked off of me on numerous occasions. [image] This is non-stop action with some major shockers thrown into the assortment just for shit and giggles and also to help muddy the waters further. I really wasn't prepared for some of the happenings in "True Storm" and did find myself crying like a baby as the story gradually unfolded to its ultimate conclusion. [image] "True Storm" itself, finally gives us answers to certain questions and loose ends left over from previous instalments. A sense of closure is finally offered, rounding things up nicely for the reader. One slight criticism from me know, that ending!! I would have maybe liked things expanded on slightly. Clarified a trifle more, the eventual fallout with Storm and Jared I would have really liked to see play out to its foregone conclusion. I just think It would have added an extra dimension and depth to the proceedings if things had been spun that way. And also can I just say, after all that denial from Lu and Jared about there relationship things just seemed to me to be slightly anti-climatic in nature. [image] It was all wrapped up a bit too quickly and pat for my particular liking. Another slight gripe was I didn't feel certain characters in this book got the page time they deserved when it came to there fates. I know obscure much!!! but I really can't say much more without giving too much information away and spoiling this excellent tale for others. But what I will say is this. one of my favourite characters here got a pretty raw deal in my opinion. And I was not impressed with how quickly he was brushed over and moved on with, just saying. [image] On a final note, this instalment is slightly friskier than the others. Though it is still completely suitable for a younger audience it's only kissing and some mild petting but just thought I'd mention it. So that's it from me, this was a great YA read that I really did enjoy. Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "True Storm (True Born Trilogy #3)" of which I have reviewed voluntary. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
