The Seven Sisters (The Seven Sisters, #1)

For the most part I really enjoyed this story about Maia and her journey to find where she came from. The historical fiction regarding Christ the Redeemer was especially interesting. However, the part about Pa Star and the 5 girls who never questioned who he was drove me a little crazy. My rating is more like 3.5 stars.

Kerrin, I wonder too if I could get lost in the enthralling fiction and mystery idea, or if I would be dubious of abnormal behaviour, like not posing questions of parentage.

Carolyn, I read two more in the series and enjoyed them about the same as this one. I did try to focus on the mystery. But after 3 books, I decided it wasn't enough to hold my interest.
I appreciate your review as I often hear this series touted as something that I should read. Still on the fence if it is my cup of tea. Thanks, Kerrin!
I just can't bring myself to tackle the Seven Sisters series, Kerrin, although I love Lucinda Riley's writing. Are you going to continue with the series?❤📚

I might read the last book in the series when it is published just to see how it ends.
