I feel so privileged to have been gifted a copy of “Onyx Webb Book 2” by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz (thanks, Andrea!). There are so few series out there that have absolutely captured my attention. Referring to my original comments on book 1, I’m going to repeat myself here. This is a delightful “webb” of intelligently-crafted characters, dialogue and imagery. I don’t think there’s a single item in this series that wasn’t/isn’t carefully thought out to the delight of readers. As the story (stories) progresses, it has taken the decided shape of a soap opera, but one that is more reminiscent of a paranormal “Soap” meets “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”, than “General Hospital”.

If you are looking for intelligent writing and something that will hold your attention and ignite your imagination, then the Onxy Webb series is for you. Its brilliance cannot be overshadowed by death but then again, death isn’t the end.
