I can't believe that I am close to finishing this series! It's crazy because school started and there is so much going on, I try to squeeze in my reading for this series at night. Since I would like to write a review for all of the books in this series, I stay up a little. I love the characters, and things are slowly moving in the right direction! I am excited to read more and find out what happens next!



In middle school, Futaba had a hard time making friends because of the boys in her grade. They all found her attractive, which made most of the girls in her grade jealous, making it hard for her to make friends. This led to her hating all of the guys in her grade except for one. Kou was the guy who was less manly, shorter than the other guys in his grade and had a gentle voice. Before the two could hang out, Kou moved away and disappeared from Futaba's life. Later, when Futaba moves into high school, she realizes that she wants to make friends. She starts to eat more and act more aggressive, which helped her make friends. She never expects to run into her childhood crush, who has changed just as much as she has.



I love all of the characters in this series, even if they get me frustrated. I am happy for Yuuri, she's a great friend and she deserves happiness. I love how Marou and Yuuri look out for Futaba, it's so sweet. Kou is a cool guy, but he needs to be more open about everything and talk to others. This will help avoid problems and everyone is happy. Futaba is a strong girl, and I am happy that she stands up for what she believes in. I love how honest she is and she is never afraid to speak up. She doesn't like hurting others, but gets confused easily.



I am enjoying this series so far and I can't wait to see what happens next! I'll be off to squeeze as much reading as I can this weekend!
