I am new to this author but I found Deadly Dog Days to be a very interesting anf colorful cozy mystery.
The story is set in Metamora, Indiana, and Cameron Cripps-Hayman is the lovable main character in this delightful story.
She made Metamora her home when she married local sheriff Ben Hayman. Sadly, her marriage is in disarray, and when she finds a body floating in a canal, she has no idea just how out of control her life will become.
Cam and her husband are separated, and when she finds out that he has been spending time with the murder victim, tongues wag and she is at the top of the suspect list.

Teaming up with her sister and her eccentric co-workers who dub themselves The Metamora Action Agency, they soon set out to clear her name.

This story had some quirky characters who made the story fun to read.
The writer created a believable scenario when she wrote this story and I can't wait to read more!
