liked it

huh. not sure what to think about this one. im tentatively rating this, but it very well could change. while i think i liked this overall, there are some parts i didnt.

i LOVED the interactive portion of this story. i found the online webpages, pictures, case files, news articles, and other documents to be extremely effective, immersive, and highly entertaining. they add much needed depth to a pretty singular story and makes it feel incredibly realistic.

while the writing is actually pretty good, the story itself is pretty one-dimensional. its as if the story is told through a tiny lens and only focuses on what is visible, with everything else surrounding the story left in the dark, considered irrelevant. add to that the overwhelming length and this makes a very tedious read. and im still not sure if it all paid off in the end.

so some good, some bad. but im walking away with a somewhat positive feeling overall.
