4.5 Hot and Heavy stars!
I shall rename this as the Eagle & Racoon love story. If you know, you know.
Anyhow, I didn't expect the dark stuffs, angsty stuffs. That threw me off and made me sad for everyone in this book (well, except for the bad guys of course). The theme of this book is definitely how far you would go for revenge.
I really love the heroine. She was perfect for the man that Nicolas was. They both complemented each other very well. Those late night visits? *Chef's kiss*
All in all, definitely would recommend this.

Nicolas St. Ives!! “Why are you on my back, and how did you even reach there?” They were soooo cute! BTW which one was the best scene ever?

My best scene was that final scene, at the final showdown. Where he threatened *that* guy if he harmed Maryann's, he'll go after his family and all. My heart fell out of my chest then. I need to find myself a Nicolas of my own too, one day.

Oh yessss. And towards the end before that fave scene of yours, the fact that he immediately followed I was already like bawling my eyes out.
Nicolas was so amazing I love when characters have sooo much more depth than what their outward surface suggests.
And those chaste late night visitsssss
