it was amazing

What started as a sequel to a tale about two orphans in an uprising city turns out brilliantly. It's clear Rosaria has a lot of vision when she wrote this, staying true to the first book and continuing the themes. Never once did I feel a certain event or chapter or detail was unnecessary, she stayed true to the plot and delivered an even more action packed book. I was on my toes and did admittedly shed a few tears for some characters. This series has everything that I enjoy: dragons, childhood friends to allies, even enjoyed some of the politics. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a light but packed fantasy. Cannot wait for August 9 when I'll finally read Furysong.

Jamie Jones I just read the first 164 pages last night and so far it is definitely living up to how much I loved the first one...I am also prepared for the tears.
