Amy meets Dr. Kim again and gets to talk to Oliver unobserved for the first time. As Qiana shows Amy around FCP, Amy wonders how she can help Qiana find her beautiful root flavor. But Qiana actually grows darker as she learns that Saito was permanently removed by someone. And Amy learns that she’s going to need help getting over PTSD from the prom evening experiences.

Ah, these books just read way too quickly. I know I could go online and read more, but I prefer to wait for the next physical book. Even if waiting is a bit torturous. I just love Amy’s heart for others, even when she’s in a bit of a pickle herself.

Notes on content: No language issues. No sexual content. A wrongful death is assumed and quiet investigation is started. Amy has nightmares but Qiana is helping her work on her PTSD in positive ways.
