This has cool elements but it didn’t all come together for me… it had things I like: unique backstory for heroine (underutilized imo), fated mates, cool political backdrop (under fleshed-out imo).
I wanted to like it more it just didn’t feel high stakes enough to be engaging or cozy enough to be relaxing.
