** spoiler alert ** I really liked this one! It was a slow burn with a hero who didnt want a mate. They got to know each other naturally. I enjoyed all their alone time in the cave during the storm and the survival aspect to that. I also enjoyed the only one "horse"(flying alien bird thing) trope. The hero was so cocky and I loved it! And even before they were mated, he loved the heroine and would do anything for her. I also liked the whole mask thing - that the hero had to be exiled and wear the mask because he refused the vrikas call to mate and would rather make his own decisions.
