really liked it

Read whilst travelling around Sri Lanka. The author was born in 1965 and moved to Canada in 1983 from Colombo. This story covers a similar timeframe, so the understanding of the situation shines through. The riots in Colombo are covered, but beforehand it also deals with Arjie trying to understand his sexuality and coming to terms with it. Told simply, but sympathetically. A solid 4⭐️ for me.
