i enjoyed this book until it reached around 70%. after that, everything becomes draining. before picking up this book, please be advised that the main character was raped. i’m saying this now bc the trigger warnings failed to give me a heads up bc there were things that weren’t specified such as it didn’t mention ‘rape’ and only ‘sexual assault’ and any clarification if it happens to the mcs or not.

i’m giving this 3 stars bc aside from enjoying most of the book, i really loved the characters especially ivy. the last 30% of the book fell off for me and i didn’t like the scene where she watched him having sex with another woman bc of her. i also don’t understand how they fell in love so fast when they just spent days together before they split up for 2 years and met again after she got abducted and say they love each other ?
