I know there were mixed reviews on this. As a Black woman, I found it deeply thought-provoking. It highlights the tension between continuously fighting for justice and finding peace. How can peace and struggle coexist? Are we wrong for just wanting to live our lives? Are we bound to constantly struggle and fight? While there were a lot of mixed reviews, I understand what Yoon was trying to accomplish. It explores the meaning of Blackness and questions whether true peace is attainable. I was so compelled the whole way through. However, I will say I understand how the ending could be disappointing to some people
