I can confirm that this book is better than the first! There is a satisfying end to the book, but still leaves you excited for what’s next. Quinn and Nyssa were both endearing and frustrating - they both complement each other well.
The supporting cast was great, although I did have trouble keeping up with the (tertiary?) characters from the ship. There are a number of point of views here too, and while I can’t say I loved them equally, I loved our mains and Medias/Reese grew on me to the point I’m probably most excited to see what happens with their arc.
Some small points, language is a bit more modern/casual than I’d think it would be, which took me out of the book. It’s better this book than the first though. There were a lot of repeating scent descriptions, which could’ve been reduced/varied.
Overall, great sequel though. The series definitely deserves more love ❤️
