really liked it

** spoiler alert ** This is a must-read! You should read the first book in the series Beyond Time to really understand the current storyline, characters, and references to prior book. Book two runs on the same timeline that is towards the ending events of the book. Kade and Seth's story is important to Axel and Xaviers. There is a symmetry to their character connections through both books. I definalty recommend reading both. I love both that this is duel POV and also the unique soulmate twist. I love the soulmate concept. It is fascinating. I also look forward to it.

Axel Fetterman is a cleaner, and Xavier Benham is a killer for hire. Axel lost Xavier, and now, twenty-two years later, someone shows up claiming to be his soulmate. Xavier has forgotten memories but remembers Axel. A more complicated problem exists internally, not externally. Xavier's age difference is a larger problem causing friction, where friction is not due. But the love between them is beautiful, it's spicy. The connection is more loving than that. Xavier showing up on Axel's doorstep changes the game and sets a whole new path going forward in the timeline. Old contacts enter the scene, and new alliances are forged. The enemy is a familiar, more deadlier version. In this series, love/ obsession are the moving forces that power all the books and guide every action/reaction. I can't wait to see where the next installment takes the story.
