Ah and here I was tempted to give the author another go (Atlantis and all). :( Oh well...
Lady V--yeah, I think it's one of those books you can figure out pretty quickly whether you're going to enjoy it. Slayra--No. Hah. I should have known better after Fallen. But I understand the urge to try again, I do it all the time. This one randomly showed up on my doorstep, which is the only reason I opened it at all.
I think I lost all my desire to read it after so many bad reviews, The worst thing is that I bought the book thinking it was the first, and no, it was the second, I think I'll have to sell it :(
No rating since I didn't make it to 100 pages. But let me assure you, it would not have been 5, 4, or 3 stars. Maybe not even 2.
