Still hardly any plot, just people doing things, a few kidnappings, rapes and childbirths, a million of scenes of Clare healing someone. But at least Brianna wasn't lactating all book long this time.

Dominika Love the review :D

Michael The lactating was my favorite part. Guess I'm not going to read this one. lol

Kate I could barely get through this book. I love this series but this one was a hard one for me to read

Brenda Ratliff Gotta have a rape in there!

Laura M Too funny about the lactating.

Ellyn Oh, thank God. I'm about to embark on this one and I don't think I can take any more lactating!

Linda Heminway I loved your lactating remark, true.

Lauren There was a huge plot line in the book with the murders in the beginning to what Claire endures in the book and to the fate of Tom Christies daughter and the newspaper clipping saying that Jamie and Claire die in a fire in 1776 were all connected so I think of all the books in the series this one had the biggest plotline so far.

Lisa I love your review! Perfect.

Jenna I love be how she is so open about breastfeeding. Unless you have lived and experienced the importance and connection of a life depending on you to stay alive I guess you cannot understand or connect to it. Our culture so carefully avoided ever discussing breastfeeding as if it is taboo and not the most natural thing in the world and these comments prove that. So sad. :(

Hm, not sure what to make of this comment. I have a child whom I breastfed, and still I thought it was too much of it for one book. I don’t think even one commenter here is anti-breastfeeding. The book prior to this one needed a good editor, that’s all.

Cris LOL..... I couldn't take all the talk of Brianna's breast and Jemy's poop in the last book.

Lori Ahh yes the endlessly lactating Fiery Cross. That one really tried my patience. This book was ...better.

Kaitlin Branch 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
