Holy Crap! The second book in the D/s Trilogy soars above the first and firmly solidifies Ella Dominguez's ability to write intense, intriguing fiction with an Erotic BDSM twist...

I had firm words to say about the first book in this series, and I'm here to tell you that continuing this series was my absolute pleasure. Every issue I had with the first book was nonexistent here, and has been wiped from my memory by the outstanding writing from book two. The continuation of Dylan and Isabel's journey was an edge-of-your-seat-while-squirming triumph.

DYLAN YOUNG

Dylan on why he thinks he became a Dominant:

“It’s hard to put into words. It makes me feel wanted and needed, like a God, and like I can accomplish anything. I like the trust that’s given to me when I’m in control. It’s because it’s who I am.”

ISABEL IBANEZ

Isa on why she thinks she became a submissive:

“I like being under your control and pleasing you. I like the feeling of surrendering myself to you and the trust we have that comes from that. I already told you that my curiosity for sex like this came from the lack of excitement from vanilla sex, not for any other reason..."

There was just so much more to this book:
More honest love between the Dylan & Isa,
more character development,
more action and intrigue,
more suspense...

Plus, the author ramped up the Erotic Intensity:
The BDSM element was stronger in this installment,
Dylan let out his sadistic side,
Isa discovered her masochist side,
There was more hard-core bondage & discipline,
anal play,
knife play,
fire play,
public displays...

I stand before you completely blown away...



I absolutely loved it, and I'm thrilled to be moving on to Book Three!

Shit. Did I say that out loud?

Well, hell, since she’s asking, “Yes, it is; with a little bit of domestic discipline.” There. I said it. It’s out there.

“...You seem to be good at shoveling bullshit, so take a shovel and dig your way back home.”

I want nothing more than to get her inside the hotel and ravage her body and tear off every stitch of clothing that she’s wearing. I will have her tonight and in the wickedest ways, too. Fuck yes. Tonight my lover, my friend, my pet, my submissive, my wife will know the real Dom in me.

“Holy bouncing nut sack!”

“You’re ridiculous,” she says.
“Yeah, so?” It’s the best defense ever. Who can argue with ‘so’?

Oh, the good old cum soaked, drama-free days…

The last time we used this table, and actually, the only time we’ve ever used this table, was when we fucked on it. That was the first snow day we shared together, or as I like to refer to it, Fiesta Fucktastica.

This man is seriously pushing my limits. And I don’t mean sexually, either. Well, yes, he’s pushing those limits, too. But right at this moment, he’s pushing my mental limits and my patience.

“What’s so funny?” Sawyer asks curiously.
“Her house - it looks like something you’d read about in a Nick Sparks novel.”
Sawyer raises his eyebrows at me. “How do you know what Nick Sparks writes about?”
“I don’t actually, but I’ve heard about it,” I say, trying to cover my ass.
“Uh-huh. Suuure,” he says sarcastically.
What the fuck ever.

“Does he look familiar? You think maybe she’s trying to replace you?”
I give my ‘really?’ stare and respond to him. “My ass is much firmer than his.”

“And my dick is quite significantly larger than his,” I say to Sawyer who widens his eyes at me and shakes his head.

"...It’s okay to have limits. It doesn’t mean that you’re not strong, Isa.”

“Why are you looking at me like that?” I ask while I get undressed.
“Because I love your dominance. Most especially when you don’t realize you’re doing it.”
“You think I’m being dominant, but most people would say I’m just being an asshole,”

Before I can stop myself I throw my half-eaten banana at him and it hits him on the back of his neck.
He spins around, wipes his neck and looks down at the banana on the floor.
“Did you really just fruitally assault me?”

“There are far worse people than you and I in this world and being a little dirty minded never hurt anyone, so fuck anyone who has a problem with it.”

“So do we get our happily ever after now?” I ask.
He kneels down in front of me and grabs my hands and kisses the tops of them.
“Yes, our version of happily ever after,” he answers with sparkling blue eyes.
“The version with whips and cuffs, right?” I ask.
“That’s the only kind of happily ever after I want, love.”
