"Omg, I'm so excited reading this. A book set in Hawai'i, with real local people depicted (while the main character isn't one, she's hapa). I'm sad that the 'okina "‘" isn't used and rather is replaced by an apostrophe. So far it seems good and the descriptions of my people and place seems spot on so far."

"Really chilling to think of how my people should react in a catastrophic situation where wr had no electricity and no water and no food being trapped on such a small island. Although I'm sure the anti-virus"

"The scenes and rush of survival are really getting me going. I'm not too sure how anti-haole we'd be in an apocalyptic situation. I'm enjoying it so far though."

"This is still quite enjoyable. I like the action and the use of my home even though the plot twist may have jumped the shark a bit. I'm just happy a book has been written about my home, and my people, and my culture, with an earnest and sincere attempt."
