The Ten Club is book five in The King Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I honestly don’t know how to put into words my feelings right now. I have loved this series from the start and can’t believe it’s over. This book…it will both give you hope and break your heart. But most of all, it will totally mess with your mind.

The Ten Club - Mimi Jean Pamfiloff:

King is back but this isn’t the King you knew before. This King is evil to the core. When he comes back, he remembers his brother, Mack, but he doesn’t remember Mia. And King has a plan, a plan to be more powerful, have more control and have more money. King’s heart is pure black. As I said, he doesn’t remember Mia or their baby son, but when he sees her, that same attraction is still there, he is still drawn to her.

“That man is not King. He is not my brother. He is the devil.”

The King Trilogy - mimi jean pamfiloff:

Mia Turner is probably the strongest woman I have ever read about. She just lost the man she loves more than life itself. He is dead. She is sick with mourning while still trying to take care of her baby, the baby boy that is the product of their love. But when Mack called and said King was back but that this King was evil, she still couldn’t help but to hope that the man she loved was in there some where. That she could somehow spark his memory of her. Most of all, though, she just wanted answers. She just wanted to know why he did what he did.

“I just want to know why you traded everything we had for death. You could’ve found another way to help Mack, but you just gave up so easily. Why, King? Tell me why you would do that to us.”

sexy times:

Just typing that quote is getting me stirred up all over again. What Mia went through broke my heart. But Mia is a warrior. When she realized her King was truly gone, she knew she had no choice. This King had to die. But she also wants to end the Ten Club. She has to protect her child and he will never be safe until they are all gone.

The Ten Club - Mimi Jean Pamfiloff:

This book is non-stop from start to finish, and I mean, right up until the very last page. You will not rest until you turn the last page. It will be days before I settle down from this book. If you haven’t started this series, you need to start at the beginning. Or if you have just read part of it, now’s the time to catch up since this final book is now live. Get ready for the ride of your life, because that is most definitely what you will get. King…Is…Back!

So this was the final part of this series, the overall conclusion if you will and if I am being honest here I really think King and Mia's personal story should have concluded at the end of book three.
I was happy with how we had originally left things there and with what happened in the fourth book and then this I just felt a deep well of sadness for them both.
This was full of action and intrigue but I just felt there was something missing.
I also felt that Mack and teddys HEA was taken at the expense of Mia and kings and then later that Mia's was then taken at the expanse of King and him not being able to be totally who he is with her.
That she wanted the fairytale rather than the man with so many shades.
The ending here didn't give me the closure I was after and it was a really bittersweet pill to take especially with King still keeping secrets from Mia.
A starcrossed soul-mate story to me has something missing if one mate doesn't except the other completely flaws and all.
Despite the above, I did finish this and though not my favourite of the series this was well written and engaging just not completely to my taste.
I still rank this series overall very highly and It is one I do recommend giving a bash.

Oh. My. Fuck.

What a conclusion to this series...

Every fan of fantasy genre simply MUST read this , but in order to fully appreciate the clusterfuck of a never-ending journey through time for King & Mia Turner must read the books in following order:
King's (The King Trilogy, #1) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff King for a Day (The King Trilogy, #2) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff King of Me (King Trilogy, #3) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff Mack (The King Trilogy, #4) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

It's messy, complicated, passionate, vile, raw, filled with angst & turmoil and it's a must read!

********Spoiler Alert*******

I gained nothing new from this the 5th book in the series other than utter disappointment and a major headache, there was zero growth in the characters with basically all returning to the same dismal place despite a journey through FIVE books to alter that fact.My bad!I simply forgot the reason why I avoid books that deal with time traveling with a passion.

Despite various timelines being enacted,King remained the same dark beast.the villains prospered and the wife gets to live obliviously in the dark. If anyone has seen Groundhog day you would know what I mean. Its's like watching the Salvatore brothers repeatedly switching their humanity switch on and off ad nausea.

''As long as she never finds out the truth''.That is the worst kind of way to end a romance book.

There is zero love without trust despite how major characters tend to spin their devotion in their heads and King being the major character throughout the series and uttering those words when his decisions are screwed at most and result in major catastrophic events that always results in his wife paying the ultimate price whether through his cheating, dying or behaving like a schizophrenic psychopath due to his body jumping abilities.

And as to the one star.I just have one name 'HAGNE'.

First off, I have received many of Mimi Pamfiloff’s ARCs, sadly, this is the first book from the Ten Club series that I have received, so my review is based on going in blind, with only some of the background available. That said, I was still completely caught up in the darkness and romance of THE TEN CLUB. What a wicked-good atmosphere, veiled in twists and turns that are in turn, ugly, sad and sometimes just heartbreaking.

Throughout, not knowing the previous volumes’ events all I could ask myself was how could this strong woman be so determined to save this monster from himself? Was he always so vile? Had a selfless act turned him into the monster who has no memory of her today?

What I saw was a man who has lost his very soul, his conscience and his heart. It was a good woman with a fierce sense of right and wrong who would rather lose him altogether than to see him this way. Is this fairy tale ending going to be a nightmare?

As always Mimi Jean Pamfiloff sets a stage and creates a world and her characters bring it to life. For sure, she is a premier author who knows her craft! And yes, I will be reading previous books, because there is one heck of a story here!

Leigh's review:

I only have one negative thing to say about this book, and that is “Noooooooo!” I can’t believe the King saga is over!

This tale, from the start, was an amazing saga that swept over the span of three thousand years. It was a love story that lasted over millennia, full of betrayal, passion and dark magic. I never predicted any of the twists and turns and it kept me on the edge of my seat, never suspecting what would happen next. But, it ended. It was wrapped up beautifully with yet another twist, but it definitely had closure that made me smile and cry and still want more.

In The Ten Club, we find out the fate of King. Having died, sacrificing his life for his brother, Mack, King has returned from the dead. But far from the tormented man that has finally found love with Mia, King has come back evil, and his plans include taking the Ten Club out into the open.

As a club that caters to the fabulously wealthy, evil and depraved, the Ten Club members seek sex, power, money and personal gain at any cost. The tools at their disposal are ancient and magical and cursed and the deals made with the gods to attain these boggle the mind. As their leader, “bad King” seeks to rule. And Mia, along with Mack and his love Teddi, must work to stop him at any cost. But how do you try to kill the person you love with all of your heart? Especially when they won’t stay dead?

To say I loved this series is an understatement. It was darkly mystical and fantastic. It was not an erotic romance. It was not exactly what I would consider paranormal, despite the theme of magic running through it. Instead, it was something entirely Mimi. It was snarky and entertaining and whipped me back and forth through the centuries keeping me up way past my bedtime. It was a wonderful conclusion to a highly original series, and I’m just sad to say goodbye to these people that I fear, admire and love.

Wooooooow this book gave me whiplash!!!

We have been following the story of Mia and King for a while now, so as you can see this is not a stand alone book. And you definitely need to read the other books in this series to understand all of what happens in this grand finale.

This series has been a roller coaster, but this book especially is angst topped with more anguish and a little bit of anger in there.

Mia being a seer travels back in time to where King was still human, where he was still king of his people to try and save Teddy, her children a and herself. The problem is that in this time, he doesn't know her, doesn't even like her. She has to convince him of her story, which sounds more and more crazy by the minute, and in the midst of all this she still has to mount him, mount the life the had and deal with a 3 month old child and a new pregnancy.

But this time around Mia has grown a set of iron balls, a steel back that not even King can break.

But will she ever get her happily ever after, will she be able to defeat 10 club, o will she be hunted for all time, and still lose the love of her life?

The only glitch I have with this book is the end… lol.

BIG SPOILER AHEAD!!!!! If you do not want to know any more skip ahead….

I have very mixed feelings and not all of them good, about the ending.. We all understand that King had to go through a lot to become the man Mia loved, and he had a dark side, if I may say it, a manageable dark side, but when all is done, and Mia fins herself in her time with King as her husband I felt extremely happy only to find out that King is keeping a side if himself, a very big and important part, a secret from Mia. And above all he still keeps Hague with him… I felt so betrayed for Mia. I could not enjoy their happily ever after, because it was a mirage..

OTHER THAN THAT, I love the way Mimi’s mind works… so much twists and turns, and totally unrealistic things that she can weave and make it sound possible!

I know I'm I'm a little biased because she is one of my favorite authors, but I seriously love her books.

So go…. Go and buy the book!!!

*************************MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS****************

I despised the nasty, evil King, but once we got past some events, I found I liked some of the comments he made, “you are quite lovely to look at, so that does help matters.” He grinned and it was his trademark charming smile." I loved the fire in Mia, that girl was one tough cookie, she fought, and fought, and then fought some more, never giving up and I just loved it. I'm not gonna lie I cried toward the end of the book, it wasn't because the series was ending it was about certain people, it wasn't King or Mia, just two other characters. I liked the ending, to me it was open to another book if the author chose to come back to this series.

Did not think it would end this way. But gotta remember this is Mimi Jean Pamfiloff we are talking about here. This woman knows how to create a world so stunning, interesting, intoxicating, addictive and most importantly has that "WTF just happened". She knows how entrance her readers and brings her amazing characters to alive. They are memorable. Ten Club is one that will stay with you.

Mia Turner has been grieving the loss of her husband, with one phone call changes her world. Ok turns upside down and inside out. King is alive and not the same. Like really not the same. Mia can't stand by and has to see for herself. Yeah you can only imagine what happens next or maybe not. Come on folks this is King we are talking about nothing is as it ever seems.

I devoured this book in no time and though this is the End of the series I would love some more. King is evil and so is Miss Mimi.

Just when I think that this series can't possibly take me any more by surprise Mimi pulls the rug out from under me and comes out of nowhere with the most amazing emotional twists to the heart strings. Talk about your up all night got to know what happens to these people that feel like they are completely a big part of my happiness now. (Or is that just me, so many things went undone at my house) Beautifully written emotional roller-coaster of a very complex fight between good and evil that all takes place in the heart of one man.

Perfectly Twisted and Unexpected Ending to an Amazingly entertaining Series. So sad to see it end.

The Ten Club, those three little words make me shiver in fright.
King is gone,  Mia is heartbroken and  somehow she and Mack need to dismantle The Ten Club. All of a sudden King is back and is evil, really evil. Mia has to kill him and the rest of the Ten Club, but can she? Another great rollercoaster ride by Mimi. She does not disappoint. Pure Evil, heatbreak, love, traveling thru time, lies revealed, sex, and in the end, well you'll have to read it to find out.

ARC REVIEW

I can't believe it's over, it can't be over!
Once again Mimi Jean Pamfiloff blows my mind. Mia and King's story wasn't quite over and at the end of Mack King was back to his evil self. Mia finds out that King has no memory of her at all. But just like before King becomes enthralled by Mia and will do anything to possess her. As much as she loves King she is will to kill him to save the life of their son, to protect him from The Ten Club. King has been restoring the worst evil in the ranks of The Ten Club so he can control everything.

Mack, Teddy, and Mia need to work fast to take out not just King but the whole of The Ten Club. But once again just when everything couldn't get worse a turn of fate intervenes.

Overall, I love this book and this series so much. It was perhaps one of the best endings to a series I've ever read. I have learned never to expect the norm with Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's books. She always manages to surprise me with every turn. Her writing is snarky and smart, sexy and dangerous. There is no asshole quite like King and I'm going to miss him. It was one hell of a ride.

This was by far the best conclusion to a fairy tale I've ever read...honestly, I picked my jaw up off of the floor at the end. Happiness is Mia and King getting their HEA...I think?!

Just when the story would get to a point where I felt like I could finally breathe, the plot would twist again...I found myself in serious trouble trying to keep up! I laughed, I cried and at one point in the story I was completely resigned to the ugliness of evil and our H/h never making it to the other side. This was a roller coaster ride of high hopes and deep despairs...and it was fantastic.

Thanks for the fun Mimi....I'll miss these guys, what a great series!

Four and a half huge fat stars for an amazing climax to an incredible series!

Firstly, thanks go to Mimi Jean and her wonderful assistant for sending me an ARC copy to pre-read.
I would have gotten there before release day if you hadn't snuck the date up on me!

As has become the norm with this series, there are twists and turns aplenty. King is bad, no he's good, nope, wrong again, he's bad,.... or is he??
Mia has had it with King at the opening of this story, and her and Mack have decided this is it, he has to go! be dead! Never to return. Only problem? The little life inside Mia has such sear power that she can change and control some situations. And that is what helps Mia and King through to the end of our story and their HEA...... or is it the end?

Fantastic work Mimi! I was a bit sad about Mack and Teddi..... or do I not need to be? they got their HEA as well, we just didn't get to see it with them.

Awesome book, and an Amazing series!

The "Ten Club" is the fifth book in the "King" series. The book is action packed. Filled with evil people, lost souls and lost loves. This story had my heart racing so hard, at times it was hard to breathe. The characters are multifaceted and flawed. Some much more flawed than others. Be prepared to meet evil in the face and have your heart wrenched. There's sex, murder, evil villains, heroes, the paranormal, a cranky evil king, a woman who know one should ever cross and friends. I recommend that you read the books in order.

Title: Ten Club
Author: Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

5+ smashing stars

Who is King and why did I wait so long to meet him? Ok, let me put this right out: Ten Club can be read as a standalone, but trust me, it’ll probably be a better read if you’ve had a chance to read the previous 4 books. And I am speaking from experience- I haven’t read any of the previous novels and had no troubles following the storyline, but I still had this feeling that Ten Club came back full circle and if I had had the chance to read the series, my enjoyment would have been ten fold. Mia and King’s story is one that i’ll be rereading quite soon to find out exactly what they’ve been through since they first met and even finding out Mack’s and Teddi’s story has me excited because to see their love last through time, that was something.

4.5 sexy dreams

Now, before I go on, I have to point out that Ten Club isn’t the most sexually explicitate novel i’ve read, even compared to Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s other novels, but the promise of it, even the tension between Mia and King was so incredible that it made it erotic. I couldn’t get enough of this story, of the couples and of the mystery behind the Ten Club and I wonder, especially with an ending like that, whether it truly is the end of Ten Club and King’s story, yet I have to say that if it is, i can’t complain on how it did. I absolutely loved Ten Club and can’t wait to read more from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff very, very soon.

Review of: The Ten Club
By: Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

I loved this series and the final book, The Ten Club, is one of my favorites. It brings the story of Mia and King full circle and explains why the gauntlet of lies and deceit, they have to fight through in each and every book, keeps coming back to haunt them.

From the start, this series has run me through the entire gamut of emotion; there isn’t one I could have possibly missed. With this book I found myself gasping, smiling, shaking my head and yes…crying. Mainly because I have been rooting for the feisty Mia from the start, but more so because Mimi writes her characters in such a way that they are relatable, even when you know that they are doing the impossible. That, to me, is where the real magic lies.

It doesn’t matter that King dies and comes back to life, or that Mia keeps jumping back in time, because the core of the story is the question that we all wonder about. What would you do for the person you love? That is the question that kept me reading and that was the question that was finally answered at the conclusion of the series. The answer for King and Mia came through loud and clear….everything.

I did receive a review copy from the author and it was my pleasure to provide an honest review.

I am not sure if it was years of experience working in the corporate world that gave Mimi Jean Pamfiloff a gift for writing mad characters and even more mad villains, or maybe parenting…because that makes us all a little insane, but she definitely has talent. Even her contemporary works capture the darkness in people and this is definitely a dark read. I really enjoyed each book in the King series, and I am sure many King series fans were looking forward to closing the book on The Ten Club (see what I did there?). While the story can definitely stand alone, I recommend starting with King’s, the first book in the series.

After the epic ending in Mack, we thought all was lost for King and Mia. Now it appears he’s back on the scene, but he isn’t back for his wife and son – he’s here to take back up the mantle of evil. I admire Mia’s strength and dedication to do what is necessary, and we get to see a lot of that over the course of this 263-page read. I felt that King was a little less present in this story, mainly because the reader was presented with several different aspects of King’s potential. The same characters we have come to enjoy appear in this book, as well as those we have definitely come to hate. In the interest of avoiding spoilers, though, I am not going to go into detail. If you enjoy paranormal romance, particularly those with a dark and painful current, definitely check these books and the author out.

Put your expectations aside, fasten your seat belts, and get ready for a mind blowing, twisty turny ending for the King “trilogy.” However you expected / hoped / wished that this series would end, I can almost guarantee you that this isn’t it. Most of my theories were blown out of the water in less than 25% in (so worth it though).

What you will get is an ending as only the supremely evil author Mimi Jean Pamfiloff can deliver. I suggest that you find a cozy spot to exist in for a bit (there will be a book coma), stock up on food and caffeinated beverages (you won’t want to put this book down to go in search for trivial things like sustenance), tissues, if you are legal then bring and alcoholic beverage of your choice (to celebrate the awesome plot twists and to keep you company while you process WTF just happened during your book coma), a giant foam finger (oddly satisfying to wave around and yell your own version of what the character should do next, it works for sports right?), and lastly chocolate (because chocolate, no other reason is needed here).

It’s an awesome book but I can’t imagine reading this as a stand-alone, it would be an interesting read for sure but the plot would not be as impactful without the back story provided in the rest of the series. If you are a virgin to this series it’s a perfect excuse to start a reading binge. ;)

What an exciting, thrilling adventure awaits readers of Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's last book in the King series!!! King traded his life to save his brother but can he be saved again??? His wife, Mia, is drowning in sorrow and has a baby boy to take care of. Can she solve the riddle of why King would do such a thing as abandoning her and their son? Oh the twists and turns in this plot will leave you scratching your head and questioning what you think you KNEW about King. Can Mia finally be "safe" from the horrific members of the Ten Club?

Grab your box of Kleenex, grab your glass of wine (or whatever drink you enjoy) and settle in for an "I don't want to put this down!" adventure. If you've read the previous four books in the series, this is a great finale book. IF you haven't read them, it's still a fantastic read with "flashbacks" or in our story some time traveling. Anyways I absolutely LOVED this series and this finale!!! Thanks Mimi for a frigging fantastic ride in dark fantasy.

The Ten Club (The King Trilogy 5) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

### 5 Huuuuge 'King' Size Hashtags ###

I absolutely bloody love this whole series and would give far more stars if I could!

This series has to be one of my all time favourites by far. This was a truly amazing finale, that I didn't want to ever end.

I won't recap on the story, however just when you think you know whats going to happen then along comes yet another Mimi style twist.

I'm now quite sad that the King and Mia saga is finally over, I loved them both and their ever changing world. I would've been happy with 10 books in this series !!

What a wonderful trip back into the world of King and Mia. I have crushed on King every since Mia first sat outside his office needing his help and now look how far the story has progressed with all the other colorful characters that have added to this incredible series. It is hard to comprehend that this is the last book in the series but this final book is just as amazing as the first. King has returned but this is a much darker King with evil intentions that forces Mia and Mack to band together to stop him but how do you divide your heart between what you feel and what is right. The love story between King and Mia is still at the core of this drama. The cynical and mocking humor is still amusing and if you allow yourself to embrace this magical world then you will not be disappointed.

I admitted that I totally bias towards any Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's books but how could anyone possibly blame me? Her books were AWESOME!!! and I adored her characters. They were both dark and light in them. And even evil villain was necessary to the world. This is the FINAL conclusion to the King trilogy that I wished it was not the final one. I wanted MORE!! But everything must come to an end and this book actually gave us the better, more happy conclusion than the third book. I truly wished that it was never ended. I enjoyed King and Mia, their chemistry, their lives and their wars. They were truly meant for one another. For me, this stories were never ended. Somewhere, somehow, King would be doing his necessary evils to satisfy Mia in her every needs and happiness and they would always be one of my favorite couples.

Man, I LOVE this series! My heart was pounding through this entire book! The twists & turns, the "I can'tell believe she took us that way" moments - just WOW! I know that Mimi said she'said glad everyone got their "happy ending," but I'must not entirely ready for the end. So many questions still unresolved. Anyway, what a fantastic end to this story. I truly had trouble putting it down to take care of my family. Dark Mimi is as much fun as the other Mimis. I'm definitely going to be reading the entire series back to back. Thanks for the complex characters & plots in this book. I loved the excitement of the twists & turns. I really enjoyed the second time travel experience, with guests. Keep writing, Mimi. Your books are so much fun! I received this book for an honest review. Five stars really isn't enough!

I absolutely and loved reading the exciting, extraordinary, engaging, and outstanding 5th book in the King series by the phenomenally talented Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader's copy.
While Mia is grieving the loss of her husband, King, and the betrayal, she finds out an evil, meaner version of King is back from the dead. Before King's brother, Mack, has to end King's evil life, Mia wants King to remember her and their life together and find out why he betrayed her and chose his brother's life over hers, their son, and their daughter to be.
Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written romance full of intrigue, suspense, mystery, and heartbreak, and a must read love story of King and Mia.

I'm so glad I didn't have any important homework to do today. I arrived home after classes to an email containing an ARC of The Ten Club and sheer excitement washed over me.
A new book I've been looking forward to FOR MONTHS was finally in my hands and I didn't have any plans (besides cooking dinner)!!!
Twists and turns, this book had me in tears early on, but I kept reading.
Suddenly I was crying again, and I realized I only had a few pages left.
Oh Mimi, the way you toy with my emotions is just plain mean!!!!
But I loved it!
A great read and fantastic ending to the series!

I have loved, loved the adventure that is Mia and King! This is the 5th book in the series and WOW! it is a fantastic roller coaster ride. I couldn't help thinking (at many points in this story) oh no, he didn't, he couldn't have...but he did! Oh King what is Mia going to do with you?
This story has plot twists, moments of despair, moments of complete and utter joy, sexiness, and evil that needs to be eradicated!
I received this ARC for an honest review, and I loved this book and the whole King series!

OMG. What to say? Well if you were unhappy with King's and Mia's fates at the end of Mack, this book will make you very happy, but as all thing's go when you're dealing with King happiness comes with a price! What an awesome ending to King's series it suits him perfectly, cause after all how can you have good without some evil? Mimi ties all the loose ends up perfectly!
