When he said he'd been hunting red cabbages, you know, in the normal sense, the idea just came to me. I initially thought it would be about 1000-1500 words and that I wouldn't do anything with it. Then I got to writing and it was definitely short story sized and made me laugh so I figured, throw it out there for Halloween! Why not?(less)

Hey all!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday as much as I am.

I'm writing to let everyone know that the release date for Henry and June 2 (still under it's working title for now, sorry) is set for 18 December. Hopefully nothing changes on that because I want it out before Christmas. I'll keep you posted, folks.

Also, in Henry and June news, I'll be hosting a release party soon. At the party, I Read more of this blog post »

Vladimir Nabokov
“Certainly it’s all in bloom, certainly we’ll go. For aren’t you and I gods? . . . I sense in my blood the rotation of unexplorable universes. . . .
Listen—I want to run all my life, screaming at the top of my lungs. Let all of life be an unfettered howl. Like the crowd greeting the gladiator.
Don’t stop to think, don’t interrupt the scream, exhale, release life’s rapture. Everything is blooming. Everything is flying. Everything is screaming, choking on its screams. Laughter. Running. Let-down hair. That is all there is to life.”
Vladimir Nabokov

Sylvia Plath
“I write only because
There is a voice within me
That will not be still”
Sylvia Plath, Letters Home

Sarah Kay
“Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.”
Sarah Kay

T.S. Eliot
“We aim at experience in the particular centres in which alone it is evil. We avoid classification. We do not deny it. But when a man is classified something is lost.”
T.S. Eliot, Eeldrop and Appleplex

T.S. Eliot
“The important fact is that for the man the act is eternal, and that for the brief space he has to live, he is already dead. He is already in a different world from ours. He has crossed the frontier. The important fact is that something is done which can not be undone-a possibility which none of us realize until we face it ourselves.”
T.S. Eliot, Eeldrop and Appleplex & Ezra Pound: His Metric and Poetry
