Zbigniev Bartosevic was born in 1986, in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Since 2010 Zbigniev Bartosevic has been working in Lithuanian motion picture industry and at international co-productions.
From 2012 to 2016 he has studied cinematography in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (BA studies) under supervision of cinematographer Viktoras Radzevicius.
In 2015, 2016 and 2017 Zbigniev was nominated for best young Lithuanian cinematographer award for short films "Sobaka" ("Doggone", 10', 2015, dir. Domas Petronis), "Poliarinis vakarelis" ("Polar Party", 17', 2015, dir. Domas Petronis), "Saknys karcios" ("The Roots Are Bitter", 17', 2016, dir. Domas Petronis).
In 2018-2020 he studied in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under supervision of cinematographer Ramunas Greicius, LAC.
In the meantime Zbigniev is shooting short films, documentary shorts, music videos and commercials.
