In our fast-paced world, fashion has become more accessible than ever. But what’s the real cost of those low prices? Fast fashion thrives on the idea of 'more for less,' producing massive amounts of clothing at breakneck speed. In Haiti, fast fashion disrupts local economies. The flood of cheap, imported clothes undermines the demand for locally made products, taking away jobs from skilled artisans and craftsmen. These artisans are more than just workers—they are the backbone of their communities. When they lose their livelihoods, it ripples through entire families, contributing to cycles of poverty and reliance on foreign aid. This is why it’s crucial to think before we shop. Every purchase we make has a direct impact. By choosing to shop with purpose, we support ethical practices, sustainable production, and the people who rely on fair work to support their families. Slow fashion isn’t just about buying less—it’s about buying better. When you choose products made by artisans in Haiti, you’re not just getting a high-quality item. You’re helping create dignified jobs and empower communities. So next time you shop, remember: your choices matter. Shop with purpose. Support slow fashion. https://www.haitimade.com/

💥 Last month, you showed up, and we learned so much from our 180 for Haiti initiative that we've decided to make this our permanent pricing structure. How are we doing this? By expanding our wholesale pricing directly to you, the buyer, we're trading standard business models for better ways and better solutions to support Haitian families. At Haiti Made, our mission has always been to create dignified jobs in Haiti, fostering economic sustainability through the production of quality goods. Rest assured, fair living wages will be sustained, and the craftsmanship and quality you’ve come to expect from us will remain —only now, they’re available to you at unbeatable prices, permanently. With these prices, we’re committed to moving more products, which means creating even more jobs. More jobs, mean more families fed and intact, and more people not just surviving, but thriving. That’s our mission. Shop with purpose, shop Haiti Made. https://www.haitimade.com/

We are honored to have Angelica, founder of Fleri Cheri // Flourish Darling (https://lnkd.in/gvu_Dfwk), partner with us and our job creation efforts in Haiti. Jobs are essential in Haiti and truly one of the only avenues to meet basic survival needs, raise their children, and have some level of dignity. We are so grateful to work with Angelica and spread our shared mission far and wide. We have hope for what Haiti can become and dreams of a better future... but we need your help. 💥 This month, we are doing a 180° for Haiti - selling Haiti Made goods at a 50% markdown in an attempt to radically clear out our warehouse and expedite employment opportunity. Inventory is not the solution to create jobs. Continual production creates more jobs. We must sell what we have to make room for more. Shop our high-quality, handmade leather wallets and more today! Economic Sustainability. What is it and why should we care? "Economic Sustainability" means supporting long-term growth without harming the social, environmental, and cultural aspects of a community. For decades, Haiti has relied on foreign aid, creating dependency. So, what happens if this doesn't change? Unemployment rises, families struggle to meet basic needs, and children continue to face abuse, neglect, abandonment, and trafficking. The "what ifs" are too great to ignore. We must support jobs, craftsmanship, and a dignified way to support our Haitian friends. This month, buy with a purpose. Purchase generously. Empty our warehouse. Create economic sustainability for the people and families of Haiti. https://www.haitimade.com/ #180forhaiti #jobcreation #economiccrisis #forhaiti #localartisan #handmade #leathergoods #haiti #hatianart #boutiquegoods #handmadegoods #Haiti🇭🇹 #madeinhaiti #haitimade #homegoods #ethicaljobs

How to care for your Haiti Made products ⬇️ These are lifetime leather goods! But, just like anything else, time, the sun, and your handling of the item will slightly alter your leather bag, wallet, bracelet, etc. Store your product out of direct sunlight if you want to preserve the most original look of the leather. Otherwise, your product will evolve and change in some of the most fantastic ways - aged, shiny, and loved. This choice is up to the individual owner. For general TLC, start with a damp cloth simply wiping the dust or debris off. In most cases, this will provide the desired results. If you want to take further care of your leather product, use leather conditioner for our cognac leather and neatsfoot oil for our dark and black leather. Apply modest amounts with a rag directly to the bag. 🤎 Thanks for using Haiti Made in your day-to-day. https://www.haitimade.com/

The reality is heartbreaking. In Haiti, families are being forced to decide between buying food or sending their children to school. ➡️ Help us make attending school AND nourishment a reality. We need your help to buy school supplies for children today. We have had an incredible amount of support already, but truthfully, there's much more work to be done. Please consider heading to the Lekòl Marketplace and see where we still need help. Make a small purchase that has a huge impact, today. ❤️
