  • Activities and Societies: Participants attend an orientation program at Tsinghua University in Beijing to meet their Chinese partners, learn about China's poverty alleviation issues, and develop plans to implement their service projects. Projects commonly involve teaching English in local schools or computer training. Participants then travel in teams to sites in rural areas throughout China where they reside for two weeks. Each group consists of two international students, five Tsinghua students, and a faculty advisor.

    The Summer Service Learning Program (SSLP) brings Chinese and international undergraduates together to combat poverty issues in rural China by spreading access to high-quality educational and training resources. This unique and enriching opportunity allows students to develop and implement a service learning project in rural China. Projects include teaching English, doing poverty alleviation research, giving lectures on cultural communications, and visiting local villages.

  • Activities and Societies: Studying at Yonsei University entails learning from top international and local faculty while living among a diverse international student body. Students may chose from a variety of courses in fields such as arts, culture, humanities, Korean language, East Asian studies, global issues, history, social sciences, Korean culture, Korean studies, management and economics, science, technology, and environment.

    The six-week Yonsei International Summer School Program (YISS) allows students to take a variety of classes while truly experiencing the Korea.
