Dirk Jonker is uitgeroepen tot Actuaris van het Jaar 2017. De oprichter van Focus Orange en grondlegger van analytics platform Crunchr, won de prijs onder meer dankzij zijn vernieuwende en ondernemende manier van werken. De jury prees hem onder andere voor “de manier waarop hij de vertaalslag weet te maken naar wat aankomende actuarissen nodig hebben in hun opleiding”.

has listed HR analytics tool Crunchr in its latest Cool Vendor Note. This report evaluates
innovative vendors focused on improving employee referrals, workforce insights and
intelligence, communication, and employee engagement. Crunchr is listed as one of five
‘cool vendors’ worldwide.

computing…Amsterdam, 1 May 2015 – Gartner, the world’s leading IT research and advisory company,
has listed HR analytics tool Crunchr in its latest Cool Vendor Note. This report evaluates
innovative vendors focused on improving employee referrals, workforce insights and
intelligence, communication, and employee engagement. Crunchr is listed as one of five
‘cool vendors’ worldwide.
Crunchrapps.com, launched by Focus Orange on the HR Tech Europe 2014, uses in-memory
computing technology and machine learning techniques to enable realistic simulations and
scenario planning in human capital management. Dirk Jonker, data science and technology
leader of Crunchr, explains: “This technology allows Crunchr to learn from decisions by
professionals on career advice to individuals or the early identification of talent. We basically
make human intuition scalable.”
Since the launch of Crunchr, Focus Orange has attracted attention for its analytics tool from
many CHROs and workforce analytics professionals. Randstad and Arcadis are global
launching customers. New releases are being developed to give more large and complex
organisations a broader insight into their Human Capital capabilities. The trend for 2015
goes toward bringing together different data sources to allow for this broader insight, Dirk
Jonker says. Focus Orange aims at a broad international reach for its tool.
