I transformed the global talent acquisition function from a decentralized structure to a centralized team, creating a geograpshic regional structure to better support the business. Once the function was centralized, I developed global standardized recruitment processes across the recruitment life-cycle, including a behavioral interviewing process aligned with company values, the establishment of key hire metrics and related performance goals to improve recruiter productivity, and an agency engagement process that reduced fees by over 60%. As part of this effort to standardize processes, I led the creation of the company's first Global Talent Acquisition Playbook. I was recognized for my leadership in defining the mission and vision, bringing the function together as a unified team, improving operational effectiveness and stabilizing the function with dramatically improved turnover.

At Simon, I drove the effort to get the company on the map with social media, not only by expanding our capabilities with Linked In, but also by partnering with our internal digital marketing team to launch the company's first overall social media recruitment…
I have been a strong supporter of social media recruitment from its inception. I was an early adopter of Linked In during my first years at Chico's, initiating and developing the relationship with them to support my team's efforts. At Simon, I drove the effort to get the company on the map with social media, not only by expanding our capabilities with Linked In, but also by partnering with our internal digital marketing team to launch the company's first overall social media recruitment strategy, resulting in the creation of @SimonCareers on Twitter, a Simon Careers Facebook page on our corporate site as well as a Facebook application on all individual mall pages, and a Careers page on Linked In. This was all in done conjunction with a new brand launch, creating a consistent look across all platforms.

Successfully lead the configuration and implementation of Simon's first ATS (Taleo) while reinventing the company's career site to create a more user friendly experience for candidates. Co-led the configuration and implementation of Chico's ATS (ADP Virtual Edge) and integration with the Predictive Index.
