“I haven’t known Kimberly very long; in fact, I only met her one time, but the one time I met Kimberly, I was “wowed”! I met her at the semi-annual Contractor Safety Conference she and her Southwire Safety Team conducted for Southwire Contractors this last spring. It was the most unique and most professional safety conference for contractors I have ever seen produced at an individual plant level or even at a corporate level. Vulcan has participated in many plant and corporate level “safety fair” conferences, but never anything to approach the Contractor Safety Conference Kimberly and her staff organized. The PowerPoint presentations by her staff and by the Southwire contractors were short, on-point, and powerfully informative. In all of my more than 40 years of being in the industrial safety shoe business and of having done business with the biggest names on the Fortune 500 list, I have never attended a more informative and professional meeting of any kind held by a client. It was marvelous, and Kimberly and her staff have my utmost respect for initiating this most unique conference and conducting it so professionally!”
