Multi-SIEM, Multi-EDR Threat Hunting IDE [Internal Application]
As of April 2024, this product has obtained federal patent approval and is credited with saving $11M+ annually, enabling a small team to scale efforts exponentially.
Originally a python script, we knew we needed something better to handle the investigation process across millions of endpoints. In 2020 my (frankly asinine) request to create – the "worlds first" IDE for threat hunters – was granted, with the caveat that I would be its sole developer. In 2020 my (frankly asinine) request to create – the "worlds first" IDE for threat hunters – was granted, with the caveat that I would be its sole developer. Knowing only python basics at the time, I ended up self-teaching javascript/typescript/react/electron (trial-by-fire) so we could have a reliable, maintainable UI & tooling experience that met modern app requirements.
