Despite the huge capital investments, telco's core business has become increasingly commoditized, and growth has slowed. Instead, most of the value created in the industry has been captured by so-called Over-The-Top (OTT) players. Telco operators lost more and more ground with the introduction of 3G and then 4G technologies. The performance gap with the digital service companies, the likes of Netflix, Amazon and Facebook, is particularly wide, whether measured by revenue, or market capitalization.   WWT is open-minded and receptive to new ideas and innovative approaches that emerge from the innovative companies. Through our Advanced Technology Centre (ATC), we are able to help CSPs change from a telco to a techco. Techcos are usually more highly valued by investors and stock markets than telcos. Put simply, that means the shares in techcos are usually worth relatively more than shares in telcos. This is because investors think that techcos are more likely to grow than telcos and will therefore be worth more money in the future. Secondly, techcos are typically able to change and develop more quickly. Deutsche Telekom is a one great example of many operators that have partnered with Vonage and Ericsson to make the 5G network APIs platform a reality. This network API platform is offering and will offer lots of new APIs and advanced B2B and B2B use-cases , just to name a few: 1) Silent authentication API that allows companies to authenticate their customers without engaging them in a verification process or send them OTP codes on sms , voice or other channels. 2) Quality on demand API that prioritizes applications at the 5G network to provide consistent and reliable CX with higher bandwidth and low latency specially during high traffic. 3) Location API for precise and accurate tracking and monitoring of companies valuable assets. We believe that every company in every vertical is going into this direction in the next 3-5 to 10 years , hence, we are currently working with many global , regional and local mobile operators to onboard them on this groundbreaking platform that is going to change the enterprise communication game forever.
