Congratulations to Scott McIntosh, Lynker Space's VP of Space Operations, on being selected for the second time to serve on The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy's (OSTP) Space Weather Advisory Group! Scott joins an elite group of space weather experts, and users of space weather forecasts, from the private sector and academia. The SWAG provides critical input to the White House space weather working group to help ensure the U.S. is prepared for and protected against space weather threats. We are fortunate to have Scott, who recently joined Lynker after serving as Deputy Director of the NSF NCAR - The National Center for Atmospheric Research, leading our effort to transform space weather forecasting for numerous vulnerable sectors. #SWAG #SpaceWeather

Exciting news! Lynker has secured a contract from NOAA Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) Uncrewed Systems Operations Center (UxSOC) to support their Uncrewed Marine Systems Division (UMSD). We’ll provide operational, logistical, and training support for NOAA’s DriX uncrewed surface vehicles, vital for hydrographic mapping and fisheries missions. Big congratulations to Hamer Environmental for leading our team to two major awards!  Hamer secured a contract to tackle the invasive Anemonia manjano in Pearl Harbor, helping protect Hawai’i's coral reefs. We're happy to be part of this impactful project as a proud member of the NAVFAC team. These space weather all-stars will provide essential expertise and guidance as we continuously evolve Lynker's new capability for predicting and mitigating space weather threats to numerous industries and critical services: Dr. Bob Leamon Associate Research Scientist, UMBC/NASA Bob has more than 20 years of experience at NASA in solar, solar wind and solar-terrestrial research. He has authored or co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed articles and led research that defined the "solar clock." Tamitha Mulligan Skov, Ph.D. Professor, Millersville University Tamitha has over 20 years of experience in magnetospheric and space physics. Known on social media as "Space Weather Woman," she served nearly 20 years as Senior Research Scientist at Aerospace Corporation and has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed journal articles. Mike Cook Space Weather Lead, MITRE Corporation Adjunct Professor, Millersville University Mike is an experienced space weather forecaster, researcher and communicator for the DoD and NASA. His expertise spans space weather operations, impact, policy, education and training. Together with Lynker VP of Space Operations Scott McIntosh, our team has nearly 100 years of combined experience in the solar, geomagnetic, and magnetospheric physics at the core of the space weather forecasting challenge.
