Stepping into entrepreneurship can be like planting your very own garden. It starts with just you, but as it grows, you can't water every plant alone. That's where delegation comes in—it's like asking friends to help you water the plants so everything can thrive, not just survive! Here are some simple tips to start delegating effectively: 𝟭. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻: Understand which tasks are like watering and which are like planting new seeds. Keep the seed planting with you and hand over some of the watering tasks. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀: Choose people who are excited to see your garden grow. They’ll take care of every drop. 𝟯. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄, 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹: Show your helpers how you water the plants. A good demonstration can save your garden from turning into a swamp! 𝟰. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗜𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻: Just like you’d check if your plants are healthy, check in with your team. Make sure they have what they need to help your garden flourish. Remember, every big garden started with just one person and a single seed. But no big garden grows well without a team of caring gardeners. 🌱🌺 Let's make our entrepreneurial journey bloom by sharing the load and growing together! Entrepreneurship Changes You! ✨ I was always inclined towards #entrepreneurship and the moment I entered, It changed me. (for the best, obviously) It changed my thinking, It changed my behavior, and my approach toward things. 🌱 After I started Always Organik, I never had a clear plan as to how I would market my products, trust me when I say this, Start! things will get clearer as you keep on working. 💯 We're still very small and we've got a long way to go, and we will be treading on that road one step at a time. (P.S. The photo is me whenever I see the order notification pop up on my phone. 😂) 🌟 The Journey of Learning: My garden became my classroom. I encountered issues with soil quality, pest control, and plant health firsthand. 🌱🦟 This hands-on experience was invaluable, as it allowed me to truly empathize with the struggles of fellow gardeners. 🤝 Building Connections: I constantly kept in touch with seasoned gardeners to deepen my knowledge. These conversations were eye-opening, revealing unique insights and innovative solutions. 🌻👩🌾 By identifying and solving their problems, I gained a better understanding of what it takes to succeed in this field. 🔍 Prioritizing Customer Experience: One of the toughest lessons I learned was the importance of prioritizing customer experience. In the early days, I lost customers because I failed to address their needs effectively. 💔 This was a hard pill to swallow, but it taught me that customers’ satisfaction must always come first. Their feedback became my guiding star. ⭐ 📈 The Takeaway: Whether you're nurturing a garden or growing a business, the principles are the same: patience, learning from failures, and continuously striving to improve. Each step, each mistake, and each success story adds to the rich tapestry of experience that defines who we are as entrepreneurs. 🌱✨ Let's keep growing and learning together! Share your own experiences in the comments—how has starting a business changed you? 🤔👇 #Entrepreneurship #Gardening #CustomerExperience #BusinessGrowth #PersonalDevelopment

For entrepreneurs, saying NO to another sexy idea in a miniskirt is cutting off a limb with no anaesthetic. It’s worse if you see someone else thriving on an idea you’ve put on ice. But success is like gardening. Everyone with a harvest planted, watered and nurtured their garden when no one was looking or interested. And sometimes they toiled in the dark with nothing to show for 10 - 15 years. Saying NO to the next shiny, sexy thing is a sign of maturity in life and entrepreneurship. It is the path to a great harvest. Focus. Make Magic.

A BRONZE award For my front garden Nice to be noticed No money changed hands Here’s a thought👇🏼 Thrilled to announce that the Putney Society judged my front garden worthy of a Bronze award in the neighbourhood competition! We all like recognition and especially when it is unsolicited and genuine. But in truth nobody else cares one jot, even the dog left me alone. In fairness the garden is my niche so why would he or they. Bronze is a somewhat doubled edged compliment. It really signifies try harder for Silver and not nearly good enough for Gold. I rather suspect that if you make some sort of effort you get Bronze round here. However the certificate is genuine and the rest of the known world don’t know the context and it wasn’t bought as a package. It might be a stretch to say that I am an award winning garden designer but on a loose appreciation of the facts it is sort of true if you shut one eye. In my professional life I have likewise been fortunate to get noticed positively a number of times when the awards and gongs have been allocated. And they are appreciated as the first rule of business is “don’t get overlooked”. And potential customers seemingly like to acknowledge them since they give a degree of public affirmation. They are a solid part of the feedback loop and most offices have some sort of shelf for the plaques and trophies. Often in the waiting room or reception areas because customers notice. So for all the intra-industry cynicism about judging panels, award and certificates, we do all like to win them in order to stand out from the crowd. It has to be noted that some are more valid and rigorous than others but a win is still a win so somebody noticed. They can also prompt positive behaviours. In the case of the garden version it is to encourage the enhancement of the streetscape so that the local area is an even better place to live in. And that’s thumbs up from me and many others. Small actions can make a big difference. #ThinkLikeAClient #GrumpyOptimist #TechStartUps #VentureStudios #Entrepreneur Footnote: all my content is written daily by me with no additives or tricks.
