特许金融分析师协会是一家全球性的非营利组织。自1945年以来，该组织一直出版同行评审季刊《金融分析师杂志（英语：Financial Analysts Journal）》。 [1]特许金融分析师协会总部位于美国夏洛蒂镇。 [2]

1947年，波士顿、芝加哥、纽约和费城四个金融分析师协会合并成一个新的组织。[3] 2004 年，组织改成现在这个名字，即特许金融分析师协会。 [4]
