English: Firefighters battle to contain the fire, which began around 6.30pm local time. The 850-year-old gothic masterpiece was undergoing restoration work. Flames burst through the roof and quickly engulfed the spire, which collapsed. The structure was decorated with statues of twelve Apostles and four evangelists. These 16 copper statues were removed last week as part of renovation project. 400 firefighters are battling the blaze which is hard to reach. The firetrucks had difficulty getting to the scene amid the daily afternoon rush hour. #Animation #Lumion3D
