At what point did Kuharich create the 4-3? Was it during his time with the U of Frisco? What gave him the idea? Also, this article seems to focus on his awful NFL career, but how did he fare in his tenure with Frisco?
Steve Owen and Tom Landry invented the 4-3 Umbrella Defense as a way to defend Otto Graham when they were with the NY Giants in 1950. Landry was a DB at the time. Joe had nothing to do with it. I deleted the reference, as it is wrong. Missaeagle.

I know the article, particularly the Eagles section, is completely "unencyclopedic" but it's one of the funniest Wikipedia articles I ever read. The heartbroken author's sarcasm is just hilarious. Enjoy it now before an unsympathetic editor expunges it. White 720 (talk) 03:58, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That would be me, and I'm dismayed that it took over a year and a half to do it. For pity's sake, this is Wikipedia, not a jihad page aimed at the Great Satan Kuharich. Ravenswing 20:12, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
