Seaweed farming in Indonesia
A farmer harvests seaweed growing on a rope, on the small island of Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia. Wooden posts demarcate the bay into rectangular plots that are owned by different families. Seaweed farming is a fairly simple process: Attached plants are placed in the sea and allowed to grow naturally, with little human intervention.Photo: Jean-Marie Hullot

Use metric tons instead of short/long tons.

[edit]

I've never seen a Wikipedia article use long/short tons before. Surely the use of SI units should be the default, i.e. metric tons. 194.218.10.146 (talk) 13:24, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seaweed farming video

[edit]

Howdy folks. Was reading about seaweed and noticed the seaweed farmer video seems to be broken. When I click on it, it says "no source available." If I go to the original source, audio plays but the screen remains black. Tried this on several browsers and got the same result. Is this the same for everybody else, and if so, how do we fix it?
