Reporting a User

[edit]

How do you report a user for using their own logos of political parties? Mupper-san has been uploading logos they've created onto Japanese political pages. New Sakigake Party's logo was created by them, while the old logo image has been deleted, which looked like this. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 12:39, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The same also goes for the logo of the 1998 Liberal Party, whose font is actually white, not black. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 12:43, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@ValenciaThunderbolt Speaking on the New Sakigake Party logo, this is simply a vectorisation of the image you provided but with colours adjusted to match this image. On the Liberal Party, it's entirely possible to simply change the colour from black to white in a case where the difference is as such (most likely I was working off of the board in the background). Neither of these are my "own logos" by any stretch and I don't quite understand why you're saying so.

@Mupper-san: NSP isn't a simple vectorisation, as parts of the image are different compared to the logo. The star, the coloured dots (which are supposed to be circular), and the brushstroke in the center of the image is supposed to be sharp end (where the teardrop is). ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 15:01, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@ValenciaThunderbolt At the party's website, the red and green circles are unevenly shaped (though I will concede that this could absolutely be an imperfection caused by the poor quality of the picture). The brushstroke on the teardrop shape wouldn't be hard to fix, and the star was difficult but I'll try my best to make it look closer to the image later today.

@Mupper-san: I do apologise, as it looks like you were right about the logo. The only difference with the logo, compared to the one you first uploaded, was the star. Could you alter the first version of the image you uploaded, with the start of the second version of the file? I found another image of it. I'm thinking now that the dark blue version isn't real, as I can't find it anywhere, and I can't find an image of the logo with English text, only this one with Japanese text.
