Verifiability concerns. I am unable to find any attestations of this word other than in Goodrick-Clarke's works and wiki mirrors. The reference to Goodrick-Clarke uses the word only in passing. comment while there are few uses of the term hytereme itself, and the current article doesn't meet even low thresholds, the plural(?) hysterema seems to be slightly more common, to the point of dispelling doubt about the concept's existence.
