IndiaMART InterMESH Limited spam on Wikipedia 2

This user 220.227.154.11 (talk · contribs) has already been warned for spamming various websites developed by "IndiaMART InterMESH Limited" and the obvious suspicion is of a COI related to that web shop.

They've also added a link to a trade show / conference centre aggregator site to a number of articles on such conference centres, e.g.

and others (I count 5).

Is this EL spam? The content is valuable and appears to meet WP:EL, but the host is through a 3rd party aggregator rather than the conference centre's own official site (which in this context is likely to be present, useful and already linked). Clearly there's also a spam issue.

Valid EL or spam? Andy Dingley (talk) 12:22, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Yay, more IndiaMART InterMESH domains. Reverted, it's clearly spam -- Intermesh "also undertake the task of web promotion and ensure online visibility". MER-C 13:41, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Updated. And that's just three of 60(!) pages of a google search for "Developed and Managed by IndiaMART InterMESH Limited". I'm going to be here for a while. What a waste of time. MER-C 03:16, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
COIBot found nothing for the first 30 domains, so I'll leave it there. Sorry, but thanks for the report. MER-C 06:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

reporting Oliveoilplank for possible initiative petition promotion in multiple articles

Oliveoilplank (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · blacklist hits · AbuseLog · what links to user page · count · COIBot · Spamcheck · user page logs · x-wiki · status · Edit filter search · Google · StopForumSpam) User's edits consist exclusively of dozens of additions to California initiative articles of the form "Petition management firm Bader & Associates, Inc. (owned by Tom Bader and Joy Bader) conducted the signature-gathering effort".  — [Unsigned comment added by AV3000 (talkcontribs) 03:09, 26 April 2010.]

The additions appear unsourced and do read as advertisements as currently worded. Even if an argument can be made that listing the firm hired to gather the signatures is somehow notable information, mentioning who owns the firm in an article about the petitions is off subject and clearly non-relevant to the petition articles. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 03:29, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

17 or so extlinks to this marginally relevant site, whose pages have an unusually large amount of privacy-invading web-tracking crap on them. I think I might remove them all. 66.127.53.162 (talk) 10:08, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

softwaretop100.org and refspamming

Not outright spam, it's been found to be a reliable source. But it was added enmasse to the lede of articles today (examples: [32], [33], [34]). I could use some assistance reviewing the inclusion in the lede and in the discussion on the user's talkpage, whether you agree with me or not. tedder (talk) 19:52, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
