Jackson (formerly, Botilleas, Botilleas Spring, Bottileas, Bottle Spring,[1] and Botellas) is the county seat of Amador County in the U.S. state of California. The population was 5,019 at the 2020 census.[2] The city is connected to State Route 49 and State Route 88.
