On 24 August, the Constitutional Court of Thailand suspended Prayut as prime minister, however Prayut still claims to be prime minister.[2] As the most senior deputy prime minister, Prawit Wongsuwan was made acting prime minister.[3] He became prime minister again from September 2022 to August 2023.
