For the first two decades of her adult life, Lindy was the type of woman who was always on the go. A career, a family, an image, and a dogged drive to be better all came to a screeching halt when she herniated a disc as a result of pushing herself too hard—as if being diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disease wasn’t enough.
