New Collection // Pre-order Now // Cover Reveal

I haven't published a collection of stories since 2011. And I haven't published anything at all in over a year and a half. So here we are at the decision to share not only new stories and novellas, but to collect several that have appeared elsewhere in magazines or co-authored releases. The first is being revealed today, with a caveat: The collection isn't finished. What? Well, I'm trying

Awww! I wish I could help you out but I don't own an e-reader and I've never used one. Best of luck, though, Laurie. If you like SHED, I can send you another story. I should mention that BLED actually comes first in the series but you can read these two out of order. Later, as I write more of them, I suspect they'll need to be read more in order, but these two make sense if read independently. :)

I hope you have a wonderful New Year too! And good luck with the e-reader!

Ed Rambeau Thanks for accepting my friend request, Jason. You seem like an interesting person, as well as quite the prolific and accomplished author, so feel free to tell me more about yourself and perhaps we can grow to become even greater friends. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's. My first novel is an unusual murder mystery entitled: FORBIDDEN STEPS. It's getting raves on Amazon. So I'm excited.

Regards, and have a great day, Ed

Jason McIntyre Best and most entertaining? I'll take that as a sincere compliment. Thanks! And thanks also for your friendship. I look forward to "bumping" into you around here.

Madeleine Hello there, new friend! Yours is quite possibly the best (and most entertaining) response to my friending questions, so I thank you for that. :) Take care, man!

Jason McIntyre Caley wrote: "Love to hear from another King fan! I think if you weren't introduced to Shirley Jackson in school, you were very much deprived of a great one."

That is a good point! But I went to school in a rough neighbourhood. Many of my classmates are now in jail or...well...toast. I doubt very much some of them would remember "The Lottery" and its subtextual implications on their lives.

Thanks, Caley, for calling me a friend! I look forward to catching up with your reading habits and seeing what you're up to! j. //

Jason McIntyre Haha! Maybe one of your books! If you want to leave a post on my blog with a silly example of Freeman narrating a moment in your life, I'd happily give you a copy of one of my stories! Cheers! j. //

message 5: by Jason

Jason McIntyre haha, no, I really didn't think you were in the witness protection program or anything! But I do appreciate us connecting here. I see that you use the Facebook doodad thingy -- maybe one of these days I'll get on "The Facebook" as it used to be called. Yep. That's how old I am. :-)

Jason McIntyre And thank YOU for accepting my offer. So cool that you're willing to check out my book. I saw that you added it and that is excellent. I do hope that if you get around to reading it that you might care to share your thoughts on it with me some day. Cheers, Vanessa! j. //

Vanesa Hi Jason!

Thanks for adding me. You're right I like strong female characters and I'll be happy to check out your debut novel. Good luck and happy read as well.

Jason McIntyre Cheers, Bradley!

I'll have a look at your book ratings/reviews shortly and see if we have any likes/dislikes in common.

I want to go through a bunch more and add more ratings of my own -- it's kind of addicting!

Bradley Thank you for adding me as a friend. =)
