When not in front of his computer writing, August can be found playing Xbox with friends, watching movies (He’s a huge movie buff), or working out at the gym.

August's knack for writing fiction emerged at an early age, when he wrote stories for his own enjoyment. He decided to put his hand to writing a book at 17, when he came up with the concept for the dark, witty, and suspenseful psychological-thriller, Barking Madness. "I really did enjoy this! It started out really strong but kinda fizzled out in the middle. The idea was great, I just think it got a little unfocused. I did like the vampire part though. It reminded me a lot of Fright Night and a little of the Lost B" Read more of this review »

“The families I continue to hurt and leave broken break me, and the ghostly remains that linger through the aftermath of their shattered futures reflect back and crack the mirror of my own soul." - Rosetta”
Ryan Hill, Barking Madness

“Without electronics to help me through my miserable life, I decided that I’d start working out. It would be great. My dad has a weight room in the basement that he doesn’t really use anymore, so I could lift down there. I began fantasizing about becoming huge and having girls all over me, which helped me through the rest of the evening, but of course I never actually got to lifting. All I did was lie down and dream, until school bitch slapped me into consciousness the following morning." - Michael”
