Anna Zabo (they/them) writes contemporary and paranormal romance for all colors of the rainbow. They live and work in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which isn’t nearly as boring as most people think.

Anna is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns and prefers Mx. Zabo as an honorific.

Anna grew up in the wilds of suburban Philadelphia before returning to their ancestral homelands in Western Pennsylvania. They can be easily plied with coffee.

Anna has an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, where they fell in with a roving band of romance writers and never looked back. They also have a BA in Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University.

All those NAMES in the On the Board Series

Isaac gathered the cards at the center of the table. “So, you and me, and Karlsson and Sidorov—Sido?”

I’d never seen Elias roll his eyes quite so hard. “It’s Elias, or Karly.”

Isaac’s sheepish grin was lovely. “Okay.”

Nikki leveled another glare at me before shifting his attention to Isaac. “You can call me Nisha here.” He gestured to the four of u

“I take it he was in the closet?"

"He might as well have been in Narnia.”
Anna Zabo, Takeover

“And if we're talking flaws - I get a kick out of flogging people, then fucking them."

Warmth ran up Sam's spine. "That's a flaw?"

Michael grinned. "Only to some.”
Anna Zabo, Takeover

“Brian’s voice was smooth, almost conversational, except for its deep tone. “Vanilla comes from the seed pod of an orchid. Hard to grow, hard to get.”

Anna Oh man, I see the Marie Kondo meme has hit GR.

Folks, she didn't say "keep only 30 books". That's what she personally found that she kept. The idea is to, you know, curate your collection and give away/donate/sell what you don't want/need (for your value of want and need).

That's...normal. It's part of decluttering! What the heck is so awful about that? Heck, I have made raffle baskets for charity out of books I've picked up at conventions and later decided I'm never going to read!

She's not a cow. She's not a monster. FFS.

Nancy Hi Anna, I’ve read and enjoyed quite a few of your books Just discovered and finished Close Quarter. Liked it a lot. Will there be more because it read like there would, maybe Vasil’s story? Just bought the short prequel today.

Anna Hey there! For the readers out there, I just want to say that it's ABSOLUTELY OKAY to judge whether or not you want to read a book by its blurb and shelve is accordingly on GR.

Your GR account is yours.

Also, I've had people love my writing and nope out of books because of content or theme. THAT'S OKAY, TOO! I nope out of books for a variety of reasons myself. I don't get offended. Authors shouldn't.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Readers are allowed to react to a book or blurb however they react to it. It's your right as a reader.

Anyone who tells you differently is full of it.
