This is the long awaited sequel to Loving Ashe; I was so excited to be able to read this that I spent my morning in bed forgetting that I had pets to feed and housework to do!

The book did not disappoint at all! I loved it from cover to cover.

In book 1 - Loving Ashe - it was focused on Riley's life and her finally growing up and coming to terms with the things that happened to her. This book picks up a few months after book 1 ends, and we see more of Ashe; where he is fighting his own demons. Admittedly Riley still had a bit more growing up to do - which she did well in this book, but Ashe was really trying to find himself as his past that he wish would never resurface came back to haunt it.

While Riley seems to have found a footing in life, it isn't as stable as it should be yet given that it has only been a few months. So when she has to face Ashe's past while still dealing with her own, it makes her question herself and them.

If you haven't read the first book, you should before reading this one tho it is not imperative. Just that it gives you a little more background and a couple of things are a bit muddy should you not read book 1.

Please ensure you have blocked out hours to read this book coz you would not want to put it down! The book will keep you enthralled with its twists and turns. Another great book from Liz!

I loved the continuation of Ashe and Rileys story and even though this book is told in Ashes perspective as opposed to the first one I would of liked the dual POV.

Ashes career has been in overdrive since book 1 and initially meeting Riley and he's trying to find a balance between it and Riley. Poor Riley the hits kept coming and coming but Ashe was determined to let her know that she's not alone anymore and he will not only fight protect her from the drama but, he will fight right alongside her.

This book had a fair amount of family angst and drama like the first one but, this one also focuses a lot on the love between Riley & Ashe.

I think I love Loving Riley even more than Loving Ashe! It's from Ashe's POV, which is a much-needed perspective since Loving Ashe was all Riley's POV. Ashe is worrying about what to do for Riley on Valentine's Day. The man is such a sweet, swoony guy that he just can't help but to fret about this momentous occasion. But, pretty soon he has a lot more to worry about than Valentine's Day. His past has come back to haunt him. A past that Riley doesn't know anything about. And when she finds out, Ashe knows she'll be devastated. And she is devastated. Ashe knows he has to contain it, but how?

But, it's not just Ashe's past that haunt our couple. Riley's past is out in force, too. There are so many secrets swirling around, that it's a wonder the two ever made it to the other side still together. Thank God they manage, because I was rooting for them the whole time. They're such a great couple, have such amazing chemistry that it would have been a serious shame had they not made it.

Loving Riley is a great conclusion for Ashe and Riley. It's well written, excellently paced, filled with secrets, mystery, suspense, love, and of course good old fashioned sweetness and swoon worthiness from one of my favorite fictitious Brits. Thank you, Liz for giving this couple a great ending!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This review is based on an audio-book that I received. It is an honest review and the complimentary receipt of it in no way affected my review or rating.

'Loving Riley' by Liz Durano is the story of Ashe Hunter. This is the second audio-book in "Celebrity' Series.
This series has 2 books and 1 novella. This audio-book is about 6 hours and 50 minutes long that does have a semi closed end.

The narrator, Martin John Hopkins has a nice and clear spoken voice. He is easy to listen to.
I always need to get used to someone voice, but in his case it was if I already knew him by voice. I am not sure if that is true or not. His pronunciation is very good and he added the perfect amount of emotion when needed. The sound quality is also good. It was nice that the author chose a male to be narrator for this book.

This book is the follow up for 'Loving Ashe'. I do recommend reading book one: 'Loving Ashe' first.
I really like this book. I finished this audiobook in less then 2 days and I like it even more then the first book. I think because of the first book.
I kept being curious what was going to happen next. This story is full of shocking twists and turns.

This book is written from Ashe's point of view, which is a much-needed perspective since 'Loving Ashe' was all about Riley's point of view.
To his legions of fans, Ashe Hunter is perfect – the classically trained British actor taking Hollywood by storm with his devastating good looks and old-fashioned charm. To his American girlfriend, Riley Eames, he is the man of her dreams, a gallant Prince Charming come to life.

Ashe is worrying about what to do for Riley on Valentine's Day. The man is such a sweet guy that he just can't help but to fret about this momentous occasion. But, pretty soon he has a lot more to worry about than Valentine's Day.
But to someone from his past, Ashe Hunter is the Yorkshire boy she groomed for the world stage - and now, her ticket to Hollywood fame and she’ll do anything to get what she wants, even if it means tearing apart the image he's built for himself ever since he left her.

Ashe Hunter has done many things to get ahead...some of them best kept hidden from the public eye. A past that Riley doesn't know anything about. But when someone from his past threatens to reveal his darkest secrets, how far will he go to keep them from the woman he loves?

To his fans, Ashe Hunter is the perfect man, the classically trained British actor taking Hollywood and Broadway by storm.
To his American girlfriend, Riley Eames, he is a man in love who'll do anything to keep her safe from the prying eyes of paparazzi suddenly digging into her life.
It is a wonder the two ever made it to the other side still together. Thank God they manage, because I was rooting for them the whole time. They're such a great couple, have such amazing chemistry that it would have been a serious shame had they not made it.

'Loving Riley' is a great conclusion for Ashe and Riley. It's well written, excellently paced, filled with secrets, mystery, suspense, love.

Loving Riley by Liz Durano is Book 2 of the Celebrity Series and a Celebrity Romance

Things have really come together for Ash ... he's with the woman he loves and his Hollywood star has really taken off. Ash's biggest worry is what to get his girlfriend Riley for Valentine's Day. Or so he thinks until a blast from the past threatens everything. Ash's ex-manager Collette has taken on Ash's ex-girlfriend Catriona as a client. Catriona wants Ash back, and she wants him to help her launch her career in Hollywood. When Ash refuses, Catriona leaks information about Ash's BDSM past with media savvy Collette's help. When Ash still refuses to help, the knives come out and Riley is targeted, which isn't good because the vulnerable Riley and her family have a lot of skeletons in the closet. But what if the whole Riley and Ash thing is just a distraction for something bigger? Someone has an axe to grind, and they're going after Riley's loved ones. Will it be too late when Ash finds out who the real target is?

Loving Riley is the much anticipated sequel to Loving Ash and is full of humour, drama, angst, suspense and love. Liz Durano's winning combination of a captivating story and lovable characters was so captivating that I could not put this book down and can't wait to read Gareth's story. I highly recommend this book.

Audiobook review:
Loving Riley, Celebrity Book 2 wraps up the celebrity series with the pov of Ashe's.
With Ashe's past being brought into view blackmail which took a scandalous turn. The reveal of dark secrets brings more angst, melodrama, & unexpected twists to the narrative. Suspense & mystery swirling through the pages. Supporting character's play a intricate role & sweeten up the lovestory. The ending was fitting.

Narator Martin John Hopkins performance of Ashe was how I pictured Ashe. His british accent fit the character. However, when changing characters his voice didn't change enough which made it difficult to differentiate between them. That being said, most of the audio is of Ashe speaking so it didn't take too much of the story away. His tone & pace flows through smoothly. A easy listen.

Reading Loving Ashe must be read first. Loving Riley is book two, its continues Riley and Ashe's story but told in Ashe's point of view. Definitely alot of surprises, mystery and twist n turns. The conclusion to Riley and Ashe's story was great and I didn't want it to end. I loved their story. Although I can't wait for Gareth's story now.

Loved it! Can't wait for more of Liz's work.

For full review - Loving Riley on The Inked In Book Blog

ARC received in exchange of an honest review. The thoughts are my own and in no way biased.*

Let it be said that I am a complete Liz Durano fan and LOVE HER WORK. I’ve been following her work since she was on Wattpad and I am so happy that she’s making a name for herself in the published world too, because frankly, if you’re a romance fan, you absolutely need to read Liz’s books. There’s no two ways about it.

In the sequel to Loving Ashe, things have really come together for both Ashe and Riley. Ashe is making a name in Hollywood and Riley is learning to let go of her past. They’re building a life together and both of them are extremely happy in their relationship. All is good for the couple until a blast from Ash’s past threatens to destroy everything that they’ve tried to build together.

I loved that we got to see more of Ashe and his demons in this book. The first one was all about Riley and her past, but this one also included Ashe’s with hers. I liked how in the first book, Ashe seemed kind of invincible, always the pillar of support, immaculate man but in this one, we learn of his flaws and his mistakes. He really is just a normal guy, trying his best. The way that is portrayed through the story is really beautiful. I fell more in love with him as I saw him grappling through his salacious past while still trying to be the man he wants to be for Riley and his family. It makes him so much more endearing and lovable. I adore him and I admire his resilience. Such a great, great character!

I didn’t like Riley as much as I did in the first book. She still had her own past to come to terms with and suddenly being bombarded with Ashe’s was a little too much for her. I liked how she tried her best, given the circumstances and her character grew and developed throughout the story. But, she was awfully indecisive throughout the story and it made me mad that she couldn’t just make a decision and stick to it. I understood that she was dealing with a lot and she was having a hard time keeping her head over water, but it really frustrated me a whole lot.

I loved that despite everything that was going on, Ashe and Riley held on to each other ans supported the other as best as they could and finally, in the end, they come out of it all a whole stronger than before with a lot more trust and love between them. The romance was still as swoony as the first one in this, but it had a lot more angst and lot more depth than the first one as we learnt more about Ashe.

I also loved the whole mysterious plot that went hand in hand with the drama. It was so well executed and the twists and turns were really surprising and unexpected. I won’t say much on this because I think that it is best experienced while reading the novel, but let me tell you, it is amazingly written.

Loving Riley is a great conclusion to the love story that started in Loving Ashe and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

This is book two in this series and I do recommend reading book one first. A lot happens in that book and although the author does an excellent job covering the key facts, I think the devil is in the details and feel having that knowledge will increase you enjoyment of the story. Ashe and Riley. Where to start. I wanted Ashe's story. It was impossible not to. He is hot, sweet, caring, supportive and in my opinion grade A book boyfriend material. There was a whole lot left unsaid and unexplored about him in book one and you were well aware of it. However, after the intense roller coaster ride of emotional turmoil, drama, angst and enough twists to give you whiplash, I wondered if book two could compare. Well, that was a fear that was very short lived because she delivered!! More shocking revelations will have your jaw dropping and your head spinning!! I am totally jealous of Riley having Ashe but even he is not worth all the secrets, lies and betrayals she has in her life. LOL I thought that this book offered a good balance between the drama storm that swirled around them and their relationship and feelings for each other. Ashe continues to be his amazing self, even as his past comes calling. I felt so bad for him. We all have things we regret and it is always painful when those ghosts come calling. Fame and success only made it so much worse. Riley was Riley. As quirky and funny as always. I did think she showed some growth emotionally (which was a big pet peeve for me in book one). That being said, I am a firm believer that what you endure and survive makes you so much stronger and with Riley that was very, very slow to happen. I still felt that she was often her own worst enemy.as she reacted without clear though or care to herself or others. I thought the conclusion to Ashe and Riley's story was complex, compelling, sweet, poignant and very satisfying. All thoughts and opinions in this review are entirely my own and voluntarily posted.

Loving Riley starts right where Loving Ashe ended. The first book left me reeling after all the betrayals Riley had to endure and for some reason I thought this book would just be her growth and all the issues being smoothed out... I couldn't have been more wrong. Liz Durano seems to love the drama and angst and she delivered in book 2! While I personally didn't think the new revelations in book 2 were anywhere near the level they were in book 1, it still piled plenty onto Riley's plate and left her a lot to deal with. I loved how much Riley seemed to grow and mature in this book by the end but it did take a while to get there, just when I thought she was doing good and standing by Ashe when his past was coming out (his was mild compared to a lot of hollywood I'm sure) but then she would lash out and back away. One thing I appreciate was that she never ran, she did back away and take some time for herself but I felt like that was needed... there was so much going on for both of them and their entire relationship was a whirlwind. Ashe was still perfectly Ashe, nothing else really needs to be said about him. He made mistakes and he owned them while constantly reminding Riley she was is future! I'm still not a fan of Paige and Gareth's but I might just be a little more vengeful than others.

This was my first time listening to Martin John Hopkins and he had a great voice for Ashe! While I loved his sexy accent for Ashe, it took me a long time to get used to him using the same voice for all the characters. I had a hard time differentiating between the characters when he was reading the dialogues.

More Ashe💘Riley Greatness! Heartfelt & Emotional Story!

Loving Riley
The Celebrity Series, Book 2
By: Liz Durano
Narrated by: Martin John Hopkins

I fell in love with this characters in the first book “Loving Ashe”, which was in Riley’s POV, this is a continuation of their story told in Ashe’s POV. The chemistry between the two is still smoking but their relationship is being tested. Ashes past is brought into light and things from Riley’s past is turmoil. Liz Durano is a master at writing stories that are filled with many different emotions, this story seems a bit more intense then the first book, there is a bit more of suspense, secrets are revealed and we see a hole different side of Ashe. There is never a dull moment in this book, in addition to the suspense there is drama, angst, twists that will have your head spinning and more heartfelt & hot romance. Liz Durano, thank you for another great story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Martin John Hopkins is a terrific narrator, he did a great job portraying Ashe, his voice and accent was spot on for his character. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

This was a great book and ending of Riley and Ashe's story. They have their love and trying to build a life together. But now Ashe's ex-girlfriend wants him to help her succeed in Hollywood. Catriona and Ashe were in a 5 year relationship but it's been about five years since they last saw one another. She believes she took him from a nobody and helped him become today's Hollywood It Man.

Riley dealt with learning about a number of betrayals from the people she trusted and loved. She's learning to stand on her own two feet but sadly she's going to learn more things that she thought she knew about her past. She's also going to have to deal with Catriona and Ashe's old manager Collette out to ruin their relationship. Ashe has done his best to try to forget about that time in his life. That time of his life brings major guilt to his heart considering the things that happened to his late sister Hazel.

This book and the things that happen to it cause major strife for Ashe and Riley. But it also helps them become stronger and better. I'm going to look forward to Gareth's story that will come out in 2018.

The first one was way better, in this one Riley complete disability in making decision and stick to it was almost painful to me. The whole book was about saying something and, after five pages, going in the complete opposite direction, plus their dialogues where not funny anymore, it seemed like the author had to write this book but was not into it, but this is just my opinion.

Loving Riley follows on from Loving Ashe. This book is mostly written from Ashe's POV. Ashe and Riley are happily in love but Ashe's past has come to haunt him. It was shocking to everyone but especially to Riley. Ashe should have come clean about his past when he had the chance.

A lot is at stake for Ashe and he's decided to come face to face with his past to try and put a stop to it. Not only has Ashe's past reappeared in his life, Riley has been finding out more and more about herself and her past too.

Liz has managed to mix each person's story and weave them together in this book. It was a very enjoyable read and though the ending was quite conclusive, some questions were left unanswered. I'm sure those will be addressed in the next book.

Riley's happy little world is shattered when people close to her reveal their betrayal and shocking secrets from her past begin to affect every part of her life. Ashe's life is also thrown into turmoil when an ex-girlfriend shows up threatening to expose dark secrets about Ashe's past that could destroy his career and his relationship with Riley. If you enjoy storylines dripping with angst and larger than life personalities that are very easy on the eye, then this story is for you. It is very fast-paced with more surprises and unexpected developments that you can possibly imagine. This book will hold your interest and keep you on your toes trying to figure out just what's going to happen in the next paragraph or in the next chapter. I enjoyed reading Ashe and Riley's story. It was thrilling!!!!!

This is a wonderful conclusion to the series. I enjoyed Ashe's point of view. The revelations were twists that I never saw coming. These pages turned themselves as I could not stop reading. Ashe's past that he has been keeping hidden from Riley may come out and ruin what they have. I found myself routing for Ashe and I found myself hating others. There is so much revealed in this book, that is is a must read. Preferably immediately after reading Loving Ashe.

Martin John Hopkins has an amazing British accent. He brought Ashe to life. Mr. Hopkins is able to separate the characters well. His female voices were easy to listen to and did not seem forced. This is my first story with Mr. Hopkins narrating and I hope to hear more from him.

This is th second and final book in The Celebrity Series. This is a great conclusion to Riley and Ashe's story. They are both strong, honest, mature, and beautiful characters. They share a sizzling chemistry. This emotional story is beautifully written. I love to have Ashe’s POV. He is a handsome character, intriguing, loving and caring. The storyline is filled with suspense, secrets, drama, and unpredictable twists and turns. Martin John Hopkins has a great voice, with an amazing British accent, really pleasant to listen to. However, I would have liked a better range of voices, because the characters weren't always easy to distinguish. This isn't a big issue, because we get, for the most part, Ashe's POV. I enjoyed listening to this story.

Wonderful ending to Riley and Ashe’s journey. Everything came full circle and felt complete. As with the first part of their story there are a lot of emotions and feelings in this half as well. Jealousy and anger from outside sources create a good amount of drama in Riley and Ashe’s lives. Threatening to tear them apart but their love, mutual respect and honesty with each other just might make them strong enough to get through the storm. There were a couple of surprises as Ashe and Riley try to figured out who has it out for them and what the end game is.
Theirs is a story of love, betrayal, forgiveness and healing.
I really enjoyed going on this journey with them. (4.5⭐️)

Another great story in The Celebrity Series.
Again we were able to follow Riley and Ashe's life. After all the events of the first book, Riley is focused on her work and her relationship with Ashe, and finding out who she really is, but Ashe's past reappears to put some doubts in everyone's heads, including Riley's.
When some secrets are revealed, will love be able to overcome everything?
I loved the story and the unfolding of all events. The twists surprised me a lot, but it was great to read about all these characters again.
I'm anxious to read Gareth's story.
I highly recommend this book.

Ashe and Riley have conquered many things early in their relationship. Including a demanding job and a ex boyfriend who is best friend to your current one. Many would love to see Ashe fail and the respect of his peers and the love of Riley. Doubts have begin to form and Riley doesn’t know if the relationship is worth it. As they learn what is most important in their relationship there will be nothing that can keep them a part. No secrets from an ex who is trying to destroy your career and personal life and no family members who lives to see you hurt and fail.

The story was good the epilogue was not

I felt like Riley needed to let the past go people change so do are taste in food ,sex ,etc . Riley harped too much on Ashe showing her his sex quirks from his youth and that she couldn't be with him unless he showed her I would've showed her the front door .You should love people for who they are not what they where. The epilogue sucked it was more about Gareth then Ashe and Riley why even bother with the epilogue. I'm sorry that's one of my pet peeves a good epilogue or don't bother

Wow, just, wow. I thought the story from Riley’s point of view was impactful but I was wrong. This update on their romance kept me on my toes and begging for more. I’m seriously hoping there’s another update, or at least more info about Gareth. And after listening to both stories with Audible as well, the stories are much more alive. Especially with this one, his accent is spot on!

Suspense, mystery, drama, and twists makes this story interesting.
