“I see a world sun-bright
From my place in darkest night
No eyes seek me here
I am
Unseen”

Nightbloom is book three in the Nightwing series by Juliette Cross. This is a re-read for me of this series. Juliette is re-releasing the series. Each book is basically the same with some additional content added and new covers. Since it’s been four years since the first time I read this series, though, it’s like reading it for the first time. I’m going to leave my review the same. What I originally said says it all. I loved watching Elle shed her veil. And Paxon was the perfect Morgon to help her do it. My love of all things Juliette Cross continues to grow. It doesn’t matter if it’s a new book or a re-read. Her beautifully told stories always sweep me away.

Helleborus orientalis (or Lenten Rose).

What is it that makes me love these Morgon men so much? Is it their raw sexual nature, or their fierce protectiveness when they find their mate? Whatever it is, I have been addicted to this series from the first book, Soulfire. Nightbloom did not disappoint.

Ella Barrow is what I would classify as a good girl. She graduated from college with a degree in fine arts. She still lives at home enjoying the closeness she shares with her parents. She has a wealth of artistic talent she keeps hidden, only working on her art in the basement of her home, never showing it to anyone. She is dating Clayton Kerrington because it makes her parents happy. They look good on paper so to speak. Around her parents, Clayton is always the most attentive and courteous of boyfriends but he’s not like that once they are alone. They’ve been dating for five months. So shouldn’t Ella be feeling more by now? Shouldn’t she want to let him touch her?

description

Paxon Nightwing knows. He knows that Ella is the one his dragon wants. And he sees Ella. He sees that she is keeping her true self hidden from the world behind a veil. Why in the world is she with someone like Clayton?

“Something about you makes me want to tell you everything. Give you everything.”

Ella finally sees Clayton for the cruel and spiteful man that he is. But Clayton is holding a secret, something she didn’t even know. And, he will use that secret to keep Ella for his own. Her feelings for Paxon, though, are growing. She never imagined that this brave beautiful woman might be hiding inside of her. But with Paxon, she feels brave, she feels bold. But can she risk the secret Clayton is threatening to tell for her feelings for Paxon? Is she brave enough to stand up to him, to stand up for herself? And what would Paxon do if he knew what Clayton was threatening to do? Paxon holds his dragon tightly inside but if he knew, his dragon would most certainly take over.

- Colors - Inspiration - Love - Passion - Twin Flame Kiss

This story was another amazing look into the world of Morgons. And into the city of Gladium where humans and Morgons are slowly weaving their lives together. And in to soul fire, the most beautiful way that the Morgon binds their true mate, their true love, to them for all of their days. Yes, I did swoon. Juliette Cross, you did it again.

Wow, what a lovely book!

This is the third installment in Nightwing series and the author didn’t disappoint me. I was pleasantly surprised at how gripping this novella was. The story started off cute and funny, and it moved along at a nice pace. The two main characters were likable and well-developed.

Ella is an interesting character. She was pretty naïve and sheltered growing up. She’s a good daughter, doing everything her parents told her to do, being whoever they expected her to be, or even dating a man they approved of. But After one kiss with Paxon, he stirred some strange feelings inside her. She knew that she didn’t want to be the same woman she once was anymore. But when her ex-boyfriend threatened to destroy her and her family if she didn’t marry him, Ella had to choose between her family and the man she loved. Could she find the courage to step out of her shell, and how could she prove her love for Paxon?

And Paxon, ooh…Paxon! I fell in love with this (Morgon) man. He's adorable, sweet, yet sexy as hell. I loved his protectiveness and possessiveness toward Ella, and he’s really good to her! There’s no way I could say no to him… *Sigh*

“You are the only woman I have ever brought here. And you are the only woman who will ever share my bathtub”—a soft kiss on one eyelid—“my bed”—the other—“or my heart.”

Overall, this was sweet, cute, touching, fun, and very well-written. If you love reading paranormal-fantasy romances, then this one is for you.

5 - "Hold on... I’m taking you for a ride." Stars!

The third book in the Nightwing series, gives us Paxon and Elle’s story. One confident and outgoing, the other acquiescent and a little introverted.

I started Nightbloom with a little trepidation, you see Elle is in a relationship with a man, and Paxon is not that man.

"I will protect and care for you until my dying breath...I’m going to make you mine in every way."

I am not a fan of love triangles in general, but luckily the author made Clayton (the boyfriend) such an unlikable douche, it was easy to root for Paxon. Another thing I liked is although there is drama in relation to it, it’s not dragged out, and just desserts are served swiftly.

"Your mouth is so beautiful. Please watch what you say with it..."

"Why?"

"Because I only have so much self-control."

Three books in one day. That is me, with the reading of this series. I started book one Soulfire yesterday afternoon, stayed up til the wee hours to finish book two; Windburn and have spent this afternoon with Nightbloom. I think that is testament enough in highlighting just how much I enjoyed reading them all. Although I have to hope that the author at some point in the future decides to return to the Gladium Province, to give us more stories from the characters and the settings she has beautifully created.

We’ve all had that friend who has the J.E.R.K. for a boyfriend. Ella was that friend and Clayton was that jerk, the one her mother thought was perfect, the one her mother knew was NOT a Morgon. When Clayton proves beyond a doubt that he is NOT the man for Ella, she finds herself captivated by the hot, dominant Morgon, Paxon. And let the fireworks begin!

Juliette Cross’ NIGHTBLOOM is a quick, bright and passionate love story that is sizzling with real romance as Jaxon shows Ella what caring is all about. Can Ella convince her family that Paxon is the man for her?

Will love make Ella believe in her own strengths? If Paxon has anything to say about it, that is a definite yes!

There is always something special about a romantic read that brings out the best in a couple, adding that fantasy element makes them dream worthy, because we all need some fantasy to escape to sometimes and once again, Juliette Cross brings it in spades! She builds her world, creates her characters and we cannot help but fall into her words. Perfect length, just the right amount of twists and pain, all wrapped up, leaving us smiling, yet anxious for more from this author!

I think these two are my favorite of the Nightwing series thus far! He is all kinds of alpha male and she… well she has a sweetness that just cries for an alpha to love her.

She being Ella and he being Paxon, they heat up each other’s worlds in the most delicious ways. But can Ella let go of her “perfect ” boyfriend in society’s eyes and keep the one that is perfect in hers?

Oh, so much drama and sexy goodness abounds in Nightbloom. I truly loved both of these guys and I didn’t put it down ‘til the very end. The story continues and the world of the Morgan is changing and encroaching on the human one. The building of civil change is a strong undertone in each book so far. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in books to come.

Sweet, sexy, and absolutely satisfying! This author has found her groove!

There are a few things I really like about this series:

① - The World. I love the idea of dragon/human hybrid people and how the world around them would be built to accommodate a culture of flying beings living with those who don’t.

② - The culture and lore of the Morgon. Heartbound and Soulfire are such great ways to write about the mating bond between the Dragons and their mates. Even though there is something similar in other books I’ve read with mate bonds I still love the way this one is presented.

③ - The size of each. Sometimes I don’t have time for a full length novel and just need a novella to focus on for a little bit of time. I love that in this series there are only about 100 pages per. That way I can jump in enjoy the story and then go on with whatever else I’m doing.

④ - The Characters – We’ve met Paxon and Ella before but we only got glimpses. Just enough to make us more interested in them later and YES I am interested.

Ella’s two best friends are happy and in love with Morgon men but Ella knows that she will never find an all-encompassing and passionate love like that, she isn’t even sure she is capable of feeling passion at all. So she made a decision to just find someone who would be a good match in society’s eyes. Clayton is that man and she thought it would be enough until Paxon wins a kiss from Ella and she realizes that she does have some heat burning inside her.

After that kiss everything changes for Ella and she has to decide if she wants to be the shy girl standing in the background trying not to be noticed or if she is ready to risk living and step out of the shadows.
“You know, Ella. One of these days, you’re going to have to make a choice.”…
“Between becoming the woman you were born to be or remaining the frightened girl hiding under the veil….”

I enjoyed reading Ella’s journey stepping out of the shadow of her family and really reaching for the things she wanted in her life. As she discovers how to be comfortable with herself and to trust in the things she wants and believes in over what she has been told her entire life.

Even though this could be read as a stand-alone I highly recommend reading the first two books of the series Soulfire and Windburn just to get a full picture of the worldbuilding, lore and culture. Then if you decide you really like these, as I have you could try Waking the Dragon the first full length novel set in this world a little under 10 years later.

Timid Ella lives with her parents, has been taught to fear all Morgon men and is so completely tired of being afraid. When she meets Paxon at a sporting event she finds herself in the middle of a situation she never anticipated. Now he’s all she can think about and that’s not how this should work.

I loved Paxon and his constant patience with Ella as she struggled to find who she was and step into the role of herself instead of allowing her fears to rule her. Along the way is some boyfriend drama as Ella is in a relationship with another man. It doesn’t take long to figure out he’s not the right one for her and I was urging her to come out of her shell all the quicker so she could find her way with Paxon.

This is a fast paced read that has just enough conflict and drama to keep it interesting and push the story along. I loved when Ella finally made her move because, even though Paxon was definitely chasing her, he was also allowing her to set the pace. Once she found herself she absolutely shined!
Nightbloom is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. This book was one I’d been anxiously waiting to read. I enjoyed Ella and Paxon’s story so much and I’m curious to see if there will be more books in the future. Please!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

OMG! This book is freaking awesome! I haven't even read the first two yet, but I am going to for sure! This is the 3rd book in the series, but it's great as a stand alone.

I wanted to step into my little paranormal fantasy romance world with a hot new group to add to my collection! :) I have never read a romance that had dragon/men characters before and let me tell you it's HOT! Hmmmm, literally.. they blow fire when they are in the fighting ring, but I didn't mean that as a pun. Lol

So.. Ella Barrow is this young lady who is an artist and living at home with her rich family. Her best friends, Sorcha and Jessen married Morgon's (dragon men). Sorcha owns a nightclub and other businesses. And none of them can stand Ella's boyfriend, Clayton. He is a big jerk! Ella has to find that out the hard way, but she's already head over heels with Paxon who is a Morgon. She was introduced to him by Sorcha at one of her businesses.

There is a saying about Morgon men that when they find their one true mate.

"Soulfire builds within the man as soon as he meets her or as soon as the dragon recognizes her as his own. It continues to grow stronger, burning in his core, until his mate accepts him so he can release his elixer into her."

I love that line from the book :) Ok, so they don't turn into dragons, they are not shape-shifters. They are just part man and part dragon. The dragon is inside accept for the wings. They have awesome wings and Paxon takes Ella flying. He can be my superman/dragon any day!

Ella has to get her parents to accept Paxon, especially her mother who had a bad experience with a jerk Morgon when she was younger. A lot of things go down with stupid Clayton as well, but in the end it all works out.

I am definately buying this book when it comes out!

This book has some explicit things in it so I would advise before letting anyone under a certain age read it.

**I would like to thank NETGALLEY and KENSINGTON BOOKS for giving me the opportunity to read the ARC of this book for my honest review.**

I cannot say enough about this book and how much I enjoyed it from the first page to the last. Paxon was engaging and tough, yet tender in all the right moments. I literally couldn't put it down. Noone will be dissappointed in this series. You will be quickly swept away into a wonderful realm of new cultures, intrigue, magic and yes lust as well as love.

I’m really shocked at how bad this series is. The first book showed a lot of promise but it’s really downhill from there.

There’s a lot of abusive relationships and elements to this series that I feel like pushes our heroines into instalove instamate relationships with these heroes vs like…ya know, genuinely falling in love. When the heroine says, “I love you!!” And your first thought after cringing through the scene is, “But why?? How??” It’s never a good sign.

Does Ella love Paxon for who he is or because he’s the only guy that hasn’t been a complete dick? Hrmph.

LOVED...It! What a great addition to the series. This series is easily becoming one of my favorites. Love how the author writes. She does such a great job weaving a story together.

Loved Ella. Loved Paxon. Loved their connection. Loved how it got there. Nothing pissed me off. I wished Clayton would of got beat up some more. Maybe seriously wounded. Now I cant WAIT till there is more. Seriously though if you haven't read this series you NEED too.

Nightbloom is another fantastic instalment that is set amongst the beautiful backdrop of cities filled with dragon-hybrids and humans who either love them or fear them.

It's centred around Paxon Nightwing and Ella Barrow. The attraction between Paxon and Ella is undeniably sizzling, yet there is a sublime tenderness that absolutely tugged at my heart. It wasn't just all heat and passion, but a gentleness that felt like a softly spoken whisper against your ear. Like delicate brushstrokes against the yearning canvas. Alluring, sensual and divine. I adored them and their relationship, which intertwined with the poetic muse of Ella's artistic heart. So romantic.

I cannot praise The Nightwing Novella Series by Juliette Cross enough. It's sexy, sensual, and seductive and will tug at your heartstrings, igniting a fire within. I highly recommend this series to everyone that wishes to dive into a world where following your heart and listening to the yearnings of your soul will lead you to not only the love of your life, but to your awakening.

Nightbloom is a sensual, short, novella length story that absolutely left me wanting more.

Can Ella jump that racial divide when a deeply ingrained scars that fester fresh in her family’s mind?

Ella’s mom has wounds that never healed, wounds created by a Morgan. When Ella finds her perfect mate in the Morgan Paxon, Ella must decide if forever love is worth losing her family.

Strong, passionate and intense, Cross once again brings us a marvelous winged dragon hybrid romance. There is something about Cross's storytelling that just makes you want to take flight.

5 HAPPY STARS

I really liked this book, this may be book 3 in the series, but it’s by far my favourite. I loved the growth we see when it comes to Ella, from quiet and introverted she opens up beautifully in this book. Ella has always been a dutiful daughter, a loyal friend, often quiet when she wishes to do something else. But by the end of the book she sheds her veil and asserts herself as she has never done so before.

Paxon sees in Ella something no one else sees. Paxon also knows that Ella is the one his dragon wants, and he gently encourages her to come out of her shell, and embrace all that she is. Paxon and Ella are a fab fit, loved watching them interact.

The attraction and affection between Ella and Paxton rippled of the page, but not everyone is happy about them being a couple. Clayton the toad of a guy . Plus, to say Ella’s mum

There’s a good mix of drama, conflict, heat and romance in this book, making it a very enjoyable read and re-read.

Acquire via KU, this is on my list to buy, I know I’ll want to read this book.

I first found Juliette's work via her Vessel Trilogy and absolutely ripped through the first two. (I'm saving the third for a quiet weekend so I'm not interrupted.) Well, I found out she had another new release coming out 9/1/15 for the last in her Nightwing series and had advance copies available, so I jumped at the chance--and flat out CONSUMED it in one day.

If you haven't tried this series yet and are hesitant to jump in the middle or at the end, don't be. I had absolutely no issues "catching up" with the world. And OMG, Paxon!! Yum! And more yum. I think the fact that I read it in one day (despite work and kids) says just how awesome he is as a hero. Watching Ella grow and step into her own through the book was equally gratifying.

Yep, I'm definitely sold and will be picking up the first two in this series...just as soon as I wrap up the Vessel series, of course.

I typically read YA, but I loved this story so much, I can't wait for everyone (who reads adult romance, of course) to read it! Though this is my least favorite cover of the series (the hero looks nothing like this dude!) Paxon is far and away my favorite Morgan. And I enjoyed the way Ella figures out who she is and comes into her own—with a little help from Paxon. Juliette Cross is a master at building and crafting all the feels. *sigh* Recommend!

I loved all 3 books in the Nightwing series equally!

Ella lives with her parents and has been taught to fear and stay away from all Morgon men. When she meets Paxon, there is such a pull that she needs to figure this out for herself instead of blindly listening to her mother's warnings.

At the beginning of the story, Ella is dating a man who has her parents full approval but thankfully she recognizes that he isn't the one for her plus he doesn't seem to really want her beyond the status of her last name. Paxon is completely opposite and only wants what is best for her. He is patient and willing to wait until she is sure of what she wants. He also sees what Ella is capable of and where her passion lies but doesn't want to rush her but waits until she discovers it herself.

Hopefully there is more to come in this world!

Oct. 2018: Reread the re-release of Nightbloom and loved it!! I felt we got a better understand of Paxon in this re-release. I don't remember visiting his home, but I loved it. Ella is the good girl and she still was, but I felt this time around she was a little to good, if that can be a thing. Really nothing new. I adored Nightwing and my views and rating haven't changed. A fabulous series to read; especially if you are a dragon fan.

~ 4.5 Nightbloom Stars ~

Nightbloom is book three in the Nightwing series by Juliette Cross.

There is just some enchanting about these Morgon men. I am in love and have been addicted since reading book one, Soulfire. The Morgon men have this raw sexual nature that gets your blood boiling and they also protect their mate with such fierceness. I was pulled into Nightbloom from begging to end and could not put it down.

Paxon Nightwing knows that Ella is the one and he sees Ella for who she is and can be. He is confident and sure of himself, but not in an arrogant way, oh no, in a very sexy Morgon/dragon way. I loved him.

Ella is the good girl. She does what is expected of her and she still lives at home enjoying the close relationship she shares with her parents. She is shy and keeps her talent hidden never showing her art to anyone. I enjoyed her transformation from shy to sure of herself.

At the begging is she dating Clayton. Why? Well it makes her parents happy and to say the least they look good together in their social structure. All I can say is Clayton is a dick. He puts on an act in front of her parents, but you can tell he really does not care for Ella. I wanted to smack Ella and say, hey you need to kick this guy to the curb and stand up for yourself. I loved watching Ella come out of her shell, learn that it does not matter what everyone thinks or feels; because she is an amazing women, with an outstanding talent and that their is a man who sees her and will stand buy her always.

The plot is straight forward, with some secrets and blackmail coming to light. The romance was sweet and sexy. The story gives us another tempting look into the world of Morgons’ and it’s city of Gladium, where humans and Morgon’s are slowly bringing their lives together.

Nightbloom is sweet, sexy, and satisfying. The author has done it again. I highly recommend picking up this series. I can’t wait for more.

Once again Cross takes to the pages of her novel with an enchanting, magical story that I won’t ever forget. Her dynamic storytelling allowed me to picture each and every aspect of this novel in a way that defies logic. I felt as if I lived it alongside the characters. The plot was unique, fast paced, and exciting. The twists and turns kept me on my toes throughout.

The Morgon world is a complexly multifaceted place, complete with a history, mythology, and geography of its own. Cross has created the ultimate fantasy world. The development that she began at the beginning of the series continues here, allowing readers even more insight into the delightful, and at times dangerous, world in which these characters live.

Ella was so much fun to get to know. Her internal struggle between what she wants and what duty calls for became palpable. Paxon’s character drew me in like a moth to a flame. He was the whole package, struggling with his desires and inner self, wanting nothing more than to protect his love, and just all round good guy. Together, these two had me hooked to the pages so that I couldn’t put the novel down.

With the release of Nightbloom Cross has cemented the fact that her Nightwing series is my favourite new release series. I’ll be avidly watching and waiting for more from this author, both in the series and otherwise. This novel was a fantastic addition to the series as well as a standout novel on its own. I can’t wait for more. This is definitely an author that’s on my watch list.

First of all, I have to say, I loved all the books by Juliette Cross in this series so far, so my expectations where quite high ... but Juliette Cross did it again and although this is a novella (and I normally hate novellas) I was captivated by this book and especially Paxton.

Ella best friend with Jessen and Sorcha and we have seen her in the previous books - she is very timid in her appearance and hids herself well behind a very conformed facade. Her boyfriend is exactly as society would expect but not really what she wants. but as she doesn't believe in finding what her friends found with their mates, security and stability is what she expects.

I really liked the characters - Ella and Paxton, both have their own expectations and confirm themselves to societies standards but both have also their secrets.

this story was really good and it improves in every thing which annoyed me a bit in the first two books.
The relationship development was quite fast but really, really well done and I enjoyed their interactions immensly

I would have loved to see more of Jessen and Sorcha with their mates - as they are best friend with Ella, it would have made sense.

All in all, I really liked this book and can't wait for the next on in this world-building

Nightbloom (Nightwing #3) by Juliette Cross is an amazing read and a recommadation for the readers of the Nightwing Series. There is some strong worldbuilding. I love the idea of dragon/human hybrid people and how the world around them would be built to accommodate a culture of these flying hot hybrids and the romantic relation that has a red thread through the story with the recurrence of the characters from the previous installments. They are just like the main characters great characters to read about.

Ella and Paxon are a loving couple...BUT...All with all it felt a little rushed and I diddnt got the feeling I had time to adjust and really be sucked into the book like I have been in the others of this series. How much I love the characters this book is bast on a insta-love situation without explanation for why these two characters "click" There was very little build up to their relationship. The fierce Paxon was not all that fierce. And some how it just resulted in a relation which was not all that spectaculair and bed scenes that where not really that hot to read ... a little mediocre... :(

I loved this final part of the Nightwing series with Paxon Nightwing & the third of the friends with timid Ella. I did wonder how this book would be as Ella didn’t seem to have the same strengths as the first two plus Paxon was a bit of a “player” in the earlier books.
Ella was a great surprise & I found myself routing for her to show her true feelings. Paxon also was not what I expected which all made for a great read.
This is the third in the series & could be read as a stand alone but you will get so much more if you read all three in sequence.
I was lucky enough to be given an ARC in exchange for an honest review which is never difficult when reading Juliette Cross.

3 for 3!

I loved all three of these books!
Ella was the last of the 3 friends to find her mate. And Paxon was a good match to her. I loved her hidden artistic side. And I am glad she did finally fine/show her inner strength.
These Morgon men are seeeexy!
Glad to see the series will continue too. More Morgons to explore!!! Yay!

Rating: 5 Stars

My rating didn’t change and after reading my original review it really does sum up how much I adored Nightbloom the first time I read it as well as this time and this one is still my favorite of the three. Watching Ella break out of her shell was a lot fun and Pax was just alpha AF goodness. And the two of them together just fit. They had a flow to them, even when there was a bit of awkwardness tossed into the mix, that made their journey fun to experience.

If you want the full meal deal review, scroll on down, but I love this world and revisiting it was a lot of fun. The Nightwing series should be read in order as each one does build on each other and more pieces of the world are added on as you go. You don’t HAVE to read these before the Vale of Stars series, but I highly recommend it since these characters are still around and make appearances in the books.

Side note: I really like the new/updated cover over the original one because while it is a hot cover, that is NOT Pax, IMHO.

Original Review

#lovemesomeMorgonKind

Yup. I hashtagged that bitch. That’s how much I adore this series. I love the world that Ms. Cross has built, the history of how the Morgons came to be and the characters (at least the good ones) that inhabit it, hell I want to find a way to move there and find myself a Morgon male. And true to form, as soon as I started to read the prologue I fell down the rabbit hole instantly and didn’t want to be pulled out.

Nightbloom is the third and final book in the Nightwing series (something that didn’t make me happy until I remembered the Vale of Stars series) and focuses on Paxon and Ella, who we’ve gotten glimpses of in Soulfire and Windburn and who I can say I liked based on those, but now I absolutely adore them!

Paxon I fell in absolute adoration with. In the previous books he’s something of a player, but still a nice guy but in Nightbloom we get to see all sides of him and all I can say is he is the ultimate alpha male. He’s sexy, sweet, charming, confident, protective and just a bit possessive. He’s also dominant without being domineering, considerate and has a compassionate nature that shines through. Let’s put it this way. You know when they say they had a dopey smile on their face? That was me whenever Paxon was around.

Ella. I did adore her at the end, but I will admit that it took me awhile to get there. She’s sweet, loves her friends, loves her family but was so used to towing the line that there were things that she allowed to happen that had me wanting to shake some sense into her, but when she finally started to take charge of her fate, was when she started to shine. The fire that lived in her came out in force and I loved watching her fight for what she wanted while still maintaining who she is at her very core.

Paxon and Ella’s burgeoning relationship was fun to watch (remember the dopey smile thing). The attraction is pretty instantaneous and lust isn’t far behind, but Ms. Cross does an excellent job of building their relationship outside of that and showing us, not just telling, why they should be together. There were so many swoon/dopey smile worthy moments that I’m pretty sure I used up my quota for the rest of the year and much of it had to do with how Paxon viewed Ella. He saw the strong, confident woman she could be if only she’d take the mask off and he was determined to make that happen. Though this isn't to say that they didn't have a few bumps in the road to their HEA which includes prejudice against Morgons and an asshat of a boyfriend, who had me snarling almost every time he was around, but I really enjoyed how it all came together in the end.

If you haven’t read the first two in the series, you can read this as a standalone because Ms. Cross does an excellent job of explaining the Morgon world and getting you caught up with the important people, but you'll really be missing out on the history of the Morgons and humans, which is a very crucial element. The writing is solid, pacing is great and you can really tell just how much Ms. Cross loves and enjoys bringing this world to life for the reader.

And just as a little note: If you haven’t read all of the books that make up the Morgon Kind world, I will suggest that you read Soulfire, Windburn and Nightbloom first then start Waking the Dragon which is the first in the spin off series, Vale of Stars, which has already been released. You don’t have to but I think it’ll be worth your while in the end.

The Bottom Line: While I’m sad that this is the last book in the series, I’m very thankful that she decided to do a spin off series with Vale of Stars so I can still get me fix because #ilovemesomeMorgonKind!
