It was free so I can't complain much. It's a nice little book that lays out a broad outline of ways to ameliorate debt. Some of them may be 'common sense' but sometimes you need it all organized. It's mathematically obvious that paying half of bills every two weeks pays more per year than paying fully monthly, but it's not something I would have thought of on my own, for example.

By the time I read this book, I was already pretty much out of debt, but I still found some of the tips here useful, especially for making sure that you don't get back into the same situation. There's really nothing in here, though, that can't be found elsewhere online for free. But I suppose it's a good place to start for those who don't know much about the subject.

quick read. lots of money resources to investigate. perfect timing for end of year: almost time to do taxes, setting new year's resolutions, post holiday diet for your wallet days, etc.

Most of the advice was crazy. Shuffling your debt isn't the same as paying it off.
